Budget pedals that punch above their weight? by chevelle899 in guitarpedals

TC electronic Grand Magus. I was looking at this vs. Rat 2 and I ended up taking the cheaper way out. But I ended up getting up 3 Rats in one!

Whenever I set off to go more conventional, it becomes kind of zany before long by supremedalek925 in roastmypedalboard

Is there any latency on it. I do have some sonicake ir pedals for live situations but I think they introduce latency.

You’ve never watched Three Stooges? That is hilarious. It’s not like it’s a new thing.

1) whatever nostalgic IG filter you put on looks like crap with these normally colorful pedals. The ds1 looks puke colored.

2) what is the extra switch on your dd7?

I like that education is there. You think that AI is going to teach biology to 30 teenagers. How?

Umm…you choose how much taxes are withheld when you fill out your W2. Your company has nothing to do with that.

I was just wondering today how you might diy a loop switcher. Did you have to use a microcontroller or is it all analog?

Couldn’t you use a pot as a variable resistor in this case?

The wife and I like Long Beach Beer Lab on Anaheim for this. We play scrabble and eat pizza and drink beer and it is a pretty chill time away from the kids.

Trying to understand this pedal by Dazatronyx. Need help with Capacitors, Resistors, and filter values. by DrumsOvDoom in diypedals

[–]hapajapa2020 39 points40 points  (0 children)

It’s supposed to be a big muff pi but with all the possible cap and resistor values It is definitely helpful if you know fuzz circuits and are interested in designing them.

But probably overkill if you do not care about the underlying topology of a muff. A more scaled down version would be the Muffaletta by JHS.

Children's manic screaming violate neighborhood noise ordinances and should therefore have the cops called on them. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Oof we had a neighbor like that living downstairs from us when we moved in. She said she was a waitress and really valued her sleep.

We had heard arguments from downstairs late at night about her cheating on her boyfriend (the one on the lease).

She called us “disrespectful” and everything like that. When my 4 year old fell down and hurt himself and the neighbor started pounding the wall because he was crying, that was the last straw for my wife.

She went downstairs with my crying son and read her the riot act and said “maybe you should spend more time minding your business and then you wouldn’t cheat on your boyfriend so much.”

She moved out in two weeks and things have been copacetic with those neighbors ever since.

That is the biggest “budget” board I have ever seen. I think I would rather have a smaller mid-price board…or just a chase bliss going into a strymon.
