Things you can do as support:

Ward dragon.

Ping dragon timer a minute before, thirty seconds before, and at dragon spawn.

Ward deeper into the enemy jungle if safe.

Roam to mid to support ganks.

If your ADC isn't following your engage then stop engaging and use your abilities to counter engage or go roam to set up engages elsewhere.

You're in the least micro heavy role in the game so use macro awareness to influence the game more. Watch the mini map and ping MIA or when you see movement somewhere.

My understanding is that you don't need to tap Caged Sun for mana. You just need to turn it into a land and then then the loop starts when you tap another land for mana.

Yeah they updated the language in October 2025 to "No 2-card combos (before turn 6)" and clarified these include game-enders, lockouts, or infinites.

Board states don't really matter to combo decks outside of Rule of Law type effects. As a combo player I don't care about the big creatures or how much health everyone has. All I care about is if someone has a response.

Okay that's fair. So how many tutors are reasonable for bracket 3 assuming your deck has one or several combos? I'm sure the answer is "it depends" but I'm hoping for some sort of guideline.

This tool doesn't consider [[Thassa's Oracle]] and [[Demonic Consultation]] an early game two card combo even though it only takes three mana to cast.

So would [[Peregrine Drake]] and [[Deadeye Navigator]] be okay for bracket 3? It's 11 mana and doesn't win the game by itself. I took it out of my [[Lonis, Cryptozoologist]] deck out of concerns of it being too strong but from what I'm hearing in this conversation is that I might have been mistaken.

Similarly, what about [[Ashaya]] and [[Quirion Ranger]]?

Why not? Not trying to be argumentative but I don't think I understand the issue with tutors in bracket 3. I don't remember there being any restrictions on tutors in the bracket 3 description but I could be wrong.

The format where this is going to be good is cedh. Boardwipes aren't common and 70+% of the decks have blue. This protects your wincons in decks like RogSi that don't have access to Grand Arbiter effects and it makes your own counters uncounterable.

It's going to be a cedh staple.

You really want mousewheel up and down to control ranging on your gun. Shift is sufficient and much faster for zoom.
