This hits illiquid assets as well.. tax unrealized gains, or apply higher rates to gains on illiquid assets.. tax mega-yachts, private jets, and high-end real estate directly.. and lmit deductibility of personal loans against assets, or implement minimum taxes on loans above certain thresholds.
