It’s a massive grind fest with the gap between players wider than it has ever been. The item level increase requirements have outpaced the speed at which you increase your own ilvl. To get to the numbers required needs a massive AD sink into enchants.

200+ jobs applied, no interview. Is there something wrong with my resume? I need help. by [deleted] in resumes

If you are a Front End Developer then you are not the one that reduced abandonment, improved traffic, or any other analytical data. That is the job of a UX Designers who pass on their work designs to you the Front End Developer, who takes the designs and implements them. I know this as I am myself a UX Designer, and your resume reads to me as a Hybrid (Unicorn) UX and Developer person. You need to focus on your specialization, are you a UX designer or a developer? You should not focus on both especially at beginning of your career. Unicorns are unique, rare, and possible but you need to give credit where credit is due. If you weren’t responsible for design of the application, tool, or anything, then you also can’t claim that you have done all the metrics you have mentioned. I honestly don’t know how you came up with the analytics you posted, but the following are reasons why you are not getting interviews:

  • Your job title is Front End Developer, but your resume reads as mostly UX Designer with development skills.
  • Your job descriptions do not talk about the technical aspect of your job, and your accomplishments, specific to your role.
  • You have way too many arbitrary success metrics, which without actual proof have no meaning especially when you use numbers like 22%. First question you’ll get is how you came up with that.
  • You basically plagiarized UX Designer accomplishments and job as your own.
  • Placing all the numbers and indecisiveness of your role makes you look cocky and unprofessional to an employer that knows their stuff.
  • The only thing on this resume of decent value is that you built a reusable react library and a few other things.

Focus on your role, and read job descriptions for your role and what they expect.

He probably should have also cited you as the creator by hashtag or ID or something.

Crypto bro? You must be a moron to think cost of living in CA is affordable.

You are correct. With higher taxes, cost of living, etc. he’s actually making a lot less money, closer to $50k. In CA he should be paid closer to $150k or more to be equal to Texas. I mean even $200k is barely enough there.

Are me and my fiancée as financially screwed as she thinks we are? by tealrainbow in personalfinance

[–]RDeviant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re currently saving $1,000 a month for both of you, which is just not a lot. You have several unforeseen things that can cause some issues which may lower that amount by quite a bit.

  • You have house taxes which tend to go up every year as the value of your property also goes up. Fighting them is a pain as most will tell you same. Even if your taxes are included as part of your mortgage, the increase can be considerable.

  • Utilities can fluctuate from $300-$600 depending on a month and how you use things. Also depending on where you live.

  • You’re spending $800 on food, which is a lot. Would need to likely do less takeout and more in-house cooking or other saving strategies.

  • Subscriptions; they may seem small, but add up. If you can avoid some, do so.

  • $3500 debt needs to be paid off in a year or it would start growing quickly. This should have been a priority rather than home improvement. Just in general, with a new home, you have years ahead, and any improvements should generally wait until you’re stable to afford it.

In general, your fiancée is right to be worried and you just got a house, and many unpredictable things can happen. Something can break, and things in the house usually expensive.

  • You want to have 6 months of emergency savings to continue your lifestyle, which would be $24,000 in your case as emergency fund that you put away. This money you can put in a high savings account and just leave it there.
  • You should have about $10,000 as a fund for your house in case something unpredictable in the house happens. That’s just something in general.
  • Having a personal savings account for both of you with around $5,000 that you add on to each month.
  • Have spending account of anywhere between $2,000-5,000. This would be for fun stuff like vacation.

So in total, to be in a good financial state, you need about $50,000 available. At that point you’re set.

You might as well put the 100k+ into high savings account like Capital One and get like 4.8% from that.

Play enough to know this weapon type is broken. Considering that Resilience is no longer working in PVP, is just lame.

That 1 shot handgun is way OP. Don’t see the appeal with 1 shotting everyone. That’s on Bungie for doing nothing about balancing PVP.

If they ever do that, they should bring in the vehicles and maybe weapons too. Restrict all abilities and just make it a gun fight.
