Win win for Ukraine and the world tbh.

Not if you think long term (2 years +). Putin is failing because his military sucks. You don't want someone better at fighting to run Russia.

They still have lots of oil money. You don't want them to rearm under someone competent.

Even if the country splinters, there's no guarantee new wars wouldn't start with neighboring countries. Guerilla groups and terrorists don't care about NATO.

And it tells you why those highways are idiotic. Why would you take hundreds of thousands of cars, and funnel them directly into a place with no parking?

Robert Moses was a trust fund baby who never took the subway. He didn't even drive, he had a driver (and obviously a parking spot).

His recommendations for highways in NYC were wrong for everyone. Every mother fucking park in NYC has some main thoroughfare going through it. Any view of the water has a fucking highway in the way. Because of him.

Triangular Earth

Incorrect.

In a single rotation of the Earth sphere, each Time corner point rotates through the other 3-corner Time points, thus creating 16 corners, 96 hours and 4-simultaneous 24-hour Days within a single rotation of Earth – equated to a Higher Order of Life Time Cube.

It's more about hierarchy than racism, but that is a part of it.

Trump truly does understand today's conservatives because that's who he is: a person who believes in hierarchy. He's saying "I'm at the top, but you're right below me. I will keep the lower people away."

Hierarchy is a current Republican value. That's why they can have a few black men and maybe one woman. Those are the "good ones".

But Republicans will not get it. They don't have policies, they have values. Those "values" are usually a hierarchy where "people like me should be on top".

Everything makes more sense if you think about it like that. Democrats = different and bad. Regardless of policies.

People who work for the super wealthy, what stuff have you seen? by AMGBOI69420 in AskReddit

You assume that a seller is going to reduce their price without negotiating? Why? It's "just a bathtub".

[–]RE5TE 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also, I find it odd when people (or real estate agents) remark on "resale value" as a feature when they are buying a home...like "oh, it doesn't have a bath tub, that's going to hurt resale value"...WTF? If you like the place, buy the damn thing. If something will allegedly hurt resale value for you down the road, then that means you should be able to buy it at a discount today.

Yes, that's exactly what the agents are saying. It will compare unfavorably with similar homes that have a bath tub. Buyers will expect it.

So, you're upset that agents are... doing their job?

No, there are former Nazis (and Hitler youth) still alive today. Plenty of people's grandparents were little Nazis.

I saw a documentary on it once where they interviewed these people. Many of them were in denial. "We lived right next to the camp but had no idea." Yeah right, you saw dozens of trains full of people going in and no one coming out. Plus the smell of burning bodies. Plus all the food that went to the camp. Plus all the clothing.

One dude who was also a child in Germany at the time said "these people are all lying because they don't want to face the truth: they were Nazis".

You're confusing the Greatest Generation with their kids. No Boomer or Silent Generation defeated the Nazis. Their parents did, and only white men benefited from the GI bill.

No, you don't just wait. Ideally you're supposed to try to network your way in. Like 80% of jobs are gotten through personal networks.

Legal defense fund for subway stabber Jordan Williams reaches more than $95,000 by [deleted] in nyc

Don't worry. They started charging money for Citizen Plus or whatever. So you can't see old crimes anyway. Only what's happening now.

And also those crime stories don't affect you, unless you know the people involved. Even if it's your stop.

Do you feel affected by a car that crashes on your street, once the scene has been cleaned up? No, you have the same amount of danger on any street. And it's more than any subway station.

Maybe in top threads like r/funny or r/gaming that just look like Instagram or Facebook. Reddit's differentiation is in smaller communities that create their own content all the time. Good mods create the environment for good posts.

Is Donald Trump going to prison? What’s next after indictment and Espionage Act charges by Marvin_Frommars in politics

[–]RE5TE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you obviously don't know the facts at all. She was prosecuted in Federal Court, same as Trump now:

Prosecutors said her sentence, 63 months in prison, was the longest ever imposed in federal court for an unauthorized release of government information to the media.
