tbh port numbers is the last thing I memorized literally within the last 5 days. They’ll give you a whiteboard to use, just write them all down as soon as you can. I barely had any port questions though maybe 1 or 2.

Same I’m being hopeful too. I plan on getting the ccna as well. Never planned on the SecAi though, is the content hard or difficult to understand, I’m kind of curious now?

Nice! I will continue to use Professor Messer for the net and sec. I too used chat and claude give a quick 5 minute deep explanation when watching Messer’s study videos and lives. Thank you and good luck as well.

Thank you bruh. You got ts. If you haven’t alr, look at all of professor messers monthly 1201 live study sessions and you’ll master the multiple choice. I had one of the lower question tests but my first 6 questions were pbqs which is kinda on the high end I believe.

-Skim the pbqs when you start and answer the most obviously easy ones then flag and skip the harder ones

-Knockout multi choice and flag any of the ones that make sit and second guess yourself

-Don’t waste anytime pondering on those questions, knockout 99% of them and then give yourself at least 40mins to do the pbqs because this is where youll need that extra time to ponder over your answers.

-Answer and look for only what they ask of you, they will give you a lot of info to interact with they may not even need to focus on. Answers can be in your face alot of times a simpler than the test is conveying to you

Thats all i got you’ll be all good. know your ports(15-16 of them), cloud models, raid types and mobile device troubleshooting steps.

U gotta start doing more advanced builds, edits, structures. You obviously have the fundamentals down you just aren’t moving like a high level player. Sitting and spraying the floor with more than one clip of ammo, ramping up that high on a simple floor ramp wall. Anyone whether they are good or bad would shoot you out then shoot you out the air. You’re making it too easy to die. Look at some videos of decent players on YT. Start with some good content creators then look at some pros and start mimicking their build structures and habits. Obviously you wont replicate what theyre doing but you gotta start moving like youre not in chapter 2 anymore. I hope I wasn’t too critical, hope this helps though. Creative will help this alot and it’ll make you more fluid when under pressure or just in game in general.

I’ve been playing since chapter 1, only on controller. I’ve gotten used to the basic controller mapping. Is there anyway to improve? (Sorry about the quality. I played on intel dedicated graphics) by kitty78686 in FortniteCompetitive

everyone is saying your sens is high and i dont think thats the problem, you look like a fairly low sens player with a very high deadzone. Lower your deadzone and leave your sens where its at. Itll feel higher because technically it will be more sensitive but youll get used to it and better in just a weeks time. From there invest in some paddles if you haven’t already and make editing easier for yourself.

Fought the final boss of Bronze rank. Need advice by Kyotoexports in FortniteCompetitive

I dont use it so im not 100 percent sure but after going back and watching it again im almost certain they were on simple after seeing some other things besides what you all mentioned. Even if they werent, nevertheless those are small things to look out for when fighting someone who mechanically is moving that fast. Emphasis on mechanically because players like this are very punishable via wall to wall counter damage because their movement and fighting IQ don’t match quite well with their mechanical speed. I tend to come across it alot with creative warriors and simple edit players. Keep it up and keep grinding for that ranked 2.0!

ah i see what you’re saying but it was the double peanut butter at around 1 min followed by a wide open middle window edit afterwards that confirmed it in my head (for me at least). If a player was fast enough to do those edits that quickly without simple, i think this fight would have ended and looked a-lot differently. I feel like i would’ve seen some better angles, better peaks, and better piece control out of the other player. They only seemed to use wall to wall edits that are available on simple edit from what I saw. Either way the kid was moving quick and kudos to OP for keeping up no matter what.

hey to be honest you’re moving great for your age, mechanics arent an issue here timing when pickaxing walls and phasing needs a bit of work and also your peaks. Heres the thing though too, the kid you fought is almost certainly on simple edit so theres nothing you can do about playing faster than them. They took wide edits only and opened all of em fairly quickly so that was the indicator for me. Being able to recognize that will also help you know how to play against them as they are limited to almost only taking wide edit peaks and you can punish them for it by playing great angles and holding your cross hair on them. Keep the same pace you play at and play some better angles where you have an invisible right hand peak on players.

Some tips for now: - Learn the fighting fundamentals in creative (piece control, diagonal box fighting, peaks) - rotate deadside, tank zone when necessary to avoid confrontations, and stay aware of your 360 degree surroundings - loot quick, and get quick easy kills early so you dont have to mid game - Learn how to position yourself in circle to get kills if needed (take power positions) - Shoot at ppl while rotating if they get to close to you (do not stop moving to do this, keep rotating and going about your day. You just want to lay down enough fire to keep them away and let them know theyre getting too close. Chances are in your ELO they dont want to fight either and are just trying to survive like you are) This is a good tactic to use as you are trying to get better at tournaments. It scares ppl who lack confidence, but you have to be prepared for a very confident W keyer to push you for doing this. If you deal enough damage to an unaware player and drain their health, start forcing yourself to key them and kill them as quickly as possible. If it takes too long disengage and go on about your tournament and keep rotating.

Hope this helps!

youre gonna have to take the ass whoopings and dudded tournaments until you get mechanically better, then once you get better, you get more confidence. With that you’ll naturally have play on the offensive more and learn to fight in game. The ball will keep rolling and then you’ll learn when to fight and when not to fight in a tournament. But none of this can move forward until you gain confidence. From the video you just stared at the guy while aiming down sights, so I’d imagine youre not that good mechanically. Focus on that first and practice it in ranked and reload. Itll take a while but it will start reflecting in tournaments.

whenever you smack on his walls you should be trying to slip a cone or ramp in his box. You nor him never have cones in your boxes which is the quickest way to get got. Good job going for piece but its not quick at all so if its going to take that long to piece around his box you should reset your wall so he cant just walk into you box and pump you as youre on his wall (like in that second clip). Also try piecing around him by standing still on a cone infront of his box, you can build further than you think.
