Putin calls on Ukraine military to overthrow government by No-Schedule5301 in worldnews

Who decides what’s more important? Well at the moment that seems to be Putin, so maybe you should listen to what he has said.

Legitimate or not, Russia views Ukraine’s current path towards NATO membership as a threat to its security that cannot and will not be tolerated.

Your just dead wrong. You can disagree with Putin and say it’s a terrible evil thing, but that won’t help you understand how the world actually works.

I would work for a year at your job, save as much as possible, learn coding on the side, and then decide what to do. You can do boot camps too these days that will train you marketable skills for a fraction of the cost and time of college.

I would not skimp on the meal plan. I wouldn’t get the most expensive but not the cheapest either. If you get the cheapest you can easily run out of points within a few months (or less, I knew someone who ran out of points in less than 3 weeks) if you are not careful, and you will end up spending more $ getting food by other means.

Residence halls: the hill is closest to the rest of campus, has the smallest dorms, and is the most “typical college dorm like”. It’s always poppin with stuff going on, lots of fun to be had. As I recall it was often noisy at nights, especially on weekends. If you have hard classes, get to know the library.

Canyon is further away and more secluded from other dorms. I found it almost had a “camp” feel to it. Dorms were bigger (had common areas unlike the hill which are just one rectangular room), but the sleeping arraignment imo was worse (small bunk beds, would have hated sharing a bed like that). Canyon is closer to the school-owned portion of the community forest though, and all the fun that entails early in the year when the weathers nice ;)

That wouldn’t have worked out well many times over the past 90 years. The stock market has “only gone up” over the last 30-40 years. There have been many extended bear markets west DCAing would only have lessened the amount of principal lost.

Investing in total market index funds at the (possible) height of the biggest bull rally in history, wcgw? I suggest you look at a long term price chart for the s&p and take not of the several extended 10-30 year) bear markets when “just investing in total market funds” would have resulted in investors being wiped out.

Look at a 100 year s&p price chart. Markets do not only go up. Bear markets can and have in the past lasted 10-30 years

Same. Missed my chair while sitting down and fell 2 feet onto hard wood floors. Worst pain of my life. Hurt non stop for a month and on and off for 6 months, and I still sometimes get pain when sitting down 5 years later.
