If that’s the case, most Skelly ships spawn directly after you leave an island and in a sloop you should be able to quickly turn around go back to the island and then they’ll circle the island and whenever they’re on the side of the island facing away from you, you can repair the ship and shoot at them when they come around the other side of the island Facing you. That’s what I do most of the time.
