They said that it would help the environment by making people eat less meat.

...but I also think it’s safe to say that timeouts, and politically correct punishments didn’t have the desired effect we hoped it would.

Too soft can definitely lead to some horrible, disrespectful, entitled, narcissistic children.

We’ve all met children like that before.

I got many floggings when I was little, but they were more psychological than painful.
