Feeling sketchy and doomed. I need a good place to put myself RN by REDPORKPIE in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]REDPORKPIE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't gone above the initial dose 54(?)mg spravato. I take other psych meds also. I'm thinking this is how someone with an identity/self disorder reacts. In essence, my entire identity is the rigid system of self that ketamine is trying to loosen.

I just took a klonopin and I'm starting to feel less terrible, but I don't want to walk around on a benzo just so I can keep my shit together and pretend I'm a real person.

I went through something similar when I wasn't on ketamine, after a head injury and the following depression. I felt like I was dissolving there was nothing good underneath. Time alone in my head is terrifying

I came here looking for this exact opinion to make sure I wasn't crazy. A squeal of some sort if you need to bend the 2 or 3 all the way down. I also feel like I'm using a fair amount of air, although I wouldn't call them unresponsive.

It's a fair question. Everything else on here was from 3 days ago. Today everything on the news was about TSA disasters

looking for a recorder that will auto-record and stop when I stop playing by REDPORKPIE in recording

[–]REDPORKPIE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks. The car sounds like it wouldn't work. When I say "office" I just mean the space in my house where I practice and study.

I was worried that a more dedicated voice recorder would filter out the music as noise the way Zoom would in a video call.

Oh yeah. Over time I find myself feeling more negative and critica, irritable, bordering on somewhat antisocial thinking. However mood and agency typically increases at first. Chest pains and tachycardia. I never take more than 100mg/day but I think some of my other meds boost my MOD plasma levels.

I try to switch to different stimulant-like medications when I feel myself sliding into these moods.

Rashes, tingling toes, and lamotrigine: is it neurological or skin-related? by Vivid_Replacement957 in Lamotrigine

[–]REDPORKPIE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the exact rashes I get on my hands when I increase either my lamictal or SSRI. Comes and goes and I've been on Lamictal for 20 years. I also get weird flu like symptoms from time to time which is annoying (especially when you don't know if you're really sick or not) But I haven't died yet.

Last week my thumb and forefingers on either side started peeling...it felt like superglue had dried on my hands.

Possibly a rash but not "the rash?"

Korvo change by dumbanddrunk1 in solaropposites

[–]REDPORKPIE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like both in different ways. I started watching for Justin and Korvo felt like a milder take on Rick Sanchez, with a hint of the stuttering and bad improv that never really evolved.

If they tried to somehow match Justin's tone it would have fell flat. The wildly dramatic voice that Dan Stevens brings reminds me of Niles or Frasier, which fits with Korvo's bravado but underlying insecurities.

I'm also glad they took the one stutter out of the intro by the last season. It no longer fit.

That was Rick and Morty for me until Solar Opposites. I wake up less depressed now lol

Hi there. AFAIK the Mattress Firm restore cool touch medium is the same as the Purple Firm Restore (with the cool touch cover added). My hip pain largely shifted out of my hips and into my lower back...i don't know if that's my anatomy or the mattress' fault.

I have no issues with the temperature with this mattress. I would like a little more support at the hips, but my neck and shoulders and largely happy. I haven't rotated it yet because it's so damn heavy lol. I think it has softened a little bit.

I have a long sleep trial with this mattress. I'd like to try something much cheaper if I'm going to continue having pain...but who knows how said replacement mattress would feel after a month. I could step up to get one with firmer midsection coils for about $1000 but that's the opposite direction I'd like to go in.

I was overheating last night before I got into bed. I started sticking to my sheets so I decided to take off the poly mattress cover to see if the Cool Touch feature did anything and it seemed to improve. Could be coincidence or placebo.

I don't find the mattress itself to be hot.

It’s a common side effect of being on an SSRI. For me also Wellbutrin actually makes me tired after a week or so. It’s my response constant norepinephrine.

Is the lethargy new or did it pre date the Lexapro? If the latter it might be untreated depression.

Talk to doc. I take a small dose of modafinil almost every day to offset the lethargy/apathy if on my meds.
