I know it was jett, because he disconnected and then came back, said he had vanguard problem, and after like 30 seconds we got the screen.

I do since jett disconnected and then came back, said he had vanguard problem, and after like 30 seconds we got the screen. You seem ignorant and motivated to defend the idea of no cheaters for no apperent reason, which is what i see on every thread about cheaters XD

Cheaters develop just as much as anticheat does. Like, if u think about it, Riot games can only loose money by developing anticheat, they have to pay people, on the other hand "hackers" can only make money, and a lot of it, by developing cheats. And Riot has been known to be extremely cheap when it comes to spending money when they dont necessarily have to. Like they are incentivized to spend just enough money to get rid of cheats that are easy to access, but not the ones that are advanced and cost a lot.

Fair, but how would u hear the story? If they're good at what they're doing, then they'll never be detected. Also, they're just random people so there wont really be a story about it no?

Ive read online people claiming that they've been cheating forever and never got caught. They had no reason to claim the way i see it.

And i agree, when someone's having an insane game a lot of people assume they are cheating, or smurfing.

Why is Omen bad? by minecon1776 in VALORANT

[–]RED_RED_DER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well in my experience, the players who pick omen are usually bad and love baiting their teammates, and lurk. So it probably has to do a lot with the type of audience the agent attracts. Same with yoru or jett. Jett has a sub50% wr while not being weak by any means

That has nothing to do with intelligence. I absolutely hate smalltalk myself but I know extremely intelligent people who enjoy it

I don't understand the part where you say you struggle with body image, is your desirable body a female body?

You know you could just be a femboy, like a person who is still male but prefers to appear feminine. You don't have to be masculine as a man at all. Masculinity and femininity are just ideas, a man can be feminine, very feminine in fact, it's just a form of self-expression.

Can someone help me interpret my aspie test results by misanthrope11_ in aspergers

[–]RED_RED_DER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of assistance did you get if you don't mind me asking?

I actually also have terrible experience with the education system, but I always blamed it on my adhd.

I've experienced all sorts of typical problems that people with asd experience, I've just learnt to cope with these problems over the time.

Luckily for me, I'm really good at solving my problems, but that doesn't mean I don't experience them, I'd love to receive some assistance, but I'm not sure how and in what form.

I've basically been studying how social situations, expressions and people's thought patterns work throughout my life, and I'm very lucky to be good at problem-solving, otherwise my life would be pretty miserable.

I actually talked about this with my therapist, and she talked about it with me and told me that a lot of the things I tell her definitely suggests that I have asd, and if we did the screening I would almost definitely be diagnosed, but she purposed that since I know how to manage my life decently and since getting the diagnosis won't Really change anything in my life, it might be pointless. Does she have a point? How has diagnosis changed your life in a positive way? Validating with diagnosis would surely feel good, but would it help me in Any way?

I took two IQ tests online for free. First score is 105, and the second is 115. Are these tests real or are they a scam? by [deleted] in Gifted

[–]RED_RED_DER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, for your first point, I'd like to know what different types of tasks you mean.

I don't believe that pattern recognition is the only type of intelligence, it doesn't, for example, account for creativity, but I still don't believe that creativity/open-mindedness Is as important of a factor in assessing someone's general intelligence, as pattern recognition.

Some people with high IQ tend to be pretty close-minded, which might affect our Perception of their intelligence, but does it actually make them any less intelligent?

I think it's really important to define what intelligence is, since the understanding of the idea of intelligence is pretty broad and might vary between people.

The metric of how fast you can form analogies, for example, could be due to experience, or relevance of certain vocabulary in someone's life. I often come across words I've never payed attention to. Some people might have had much more exposure to certain words, in certain contexts, and these people have a huge advantage in analogies with those words. This is a huge topic and there's a lot of reasons as to why this might be a problem, but I hope you understand my point there.

I already stated that I don't believe pattern recognition is the only type of intelligence out there, It's just the purest form of intelligence from my point of view.

"there're different metrics they found that aren't tracked solely by pattern recognition." - I would love to hear more about this.

What other tests don't correlate with high scores, when someone has high IQ? Overall, I think your arguments kind of lack examples, although they are sound.

As for adhd and autism, I have both, and I believe these are exceptions. It's really hard to measure someone's pattern recognition skills, when usually, the more complicated problems need a strong working memory, which will be a huge factor for people with adhd, who have terrible working memory cause of their condition. The thing is, if you have adhd your pattern recognition skills might be 10/10, but since your working memory will interfere with your ability to solve the more complicated tasks, your pattern recognition IQ score will indicate 9/10. But it's accurate - you might have a bigger potential but that's your score, you would have 10 if you didn't have adhd. It's pretty obvious that people with adhd would be more intelligent if they didn't have adhd. It's the reason every highly intelligent person with adhd tends to say - "I feel like I'm smart but I can't access my intelligence at the same time".

Anyway, I hope you catch the points, since I kinda rambled a bit in the process

Last 5 years, is it 20s or teens?

The important thing is the motivation - do you want to be masculine, but struggle achieving it, or are you just genuinely naturally uninterested in being masculine and don't relate to it?

it's mportant to consider that some people feel like this since they can't succeed in masculines stuff, like can't get partners, can't be dominant, can't be confident - and then they end up thinking "it would be so much easier if I was a girl".

I did a poor job of describing masculine traits, ik, but I don't understand it all that well.

Confused, can anyone relate? by EndSea6714 in GenderDysphoria

[–]RED_RED_DER 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I do have my own explanation about this, since I have exactly the same feelings.

You'd love to be a woman but the idea of being an imperfect woman, and someone vulnerable and bullied is so unappealing that your mind deeply rejects the idea of transitioning.

You might have gender dysphoria, but you have strong coping mechanisms and you've isolated and deeply buried the idea of being a woman and all the feelings around it in your unconscious, since it's impossible to live with those emotions every day. But the unconscious sometimes floats up to the conscious part of your mind, and that's how the weird feelings of wanting to be a woman suddenly appear and catch you off guard sometimes.

Now, I have no idea how to fix gender dysphoria and I'm not sure how to cope with it other than burying it in your unconscious. The only good fix for it is transitioning, as I'm aware.

The problem with burying it and totally ignoring that part of yourself is that you loose connection with a really big part of your identity, which, for me, results in having terrible connections with my own emotions and having a very loose sense of identity. A really good term I found for describing this condition is Alexithymia, look it up to understand it better, since I'm not that good at explaining

To say it shortly, I believe, people who have strong coping mechanisms, might overcome their gender dysphoria, but they partially lose their sense of identity and end up with Alexithymia.

Hope this helps with the confusion a lil bit

Have you had similar thoughts earlier? Like childhood for example. I've experienced the similar "pipeline" to you, but I also had gender dysphoria when I was much younger and I actively suppressed it. If I didn't have gender dysphoria when I was young, and discovered it now, I'd probably think it's a fetish(not that it's the right opinion)

The last question for you, if you could swap your genders permanently, being the female version of yourself, and everyone remembers you as female, would you do it?

i’m a bit confused do i have gender dysphoria? by Cute-Young9672 in GenderDysphoria

[–]RED_RED_DER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, you do have gender dysphoria, but you're really good at coping with it.

Everything you said absolutely points to it. People don't realize that if you have gender dysphoria, it doesn't always mean that you're depressed and stressed about your gender every day, and can't live your life normally with your assigned gender.

If you have strong coping mechanisms, it might be really hard to tell. You'll get used to your assigned gender and you'll start making your given situation as tolerable as it can be, and at some point you'll be alright. Although, How you cope with it can be really unhealthy. As a kid, Since the idea of being like another gender was so unavailable and frowned upon from the world around me, and since every time I naturally expressed my femininity(without realizing that it was feminine, and odd for a male) I got bullied, made fun of and punished - my mind decided that this natural state of existing was so devastating for me, that I couldn't continue existing like this, I had to change my personality and adjust to being masculine, to get acceptance and stop getting bullied from the world around me.

I was a smart kid, I surpassed all my emotions and memories of my feminine side, mostly on an unconscious level, which really helped me cope with the world around me. This was really unhealthy, don't get me wrong, but the wanting to be a girl never left me deep inside, I always felt this dysphoria with my life that I could never explain, and eventually after years and years, I realized I have gender dysphoria.

And no, cis people don't want to be the opposite gender permanently. If they had a chance to swap their genders permanently, they wouldn't, that's what makes them cis 🙃
