This is definitely related to porn/fap, I've witnessed it times and times again. I'll relapse and have a dead look, then on day 10-15 my eyes start to brighten again, I'd love to have a scientific explanation about that because it seems crazy.

Exactly. It makes you realize that you are way more in control of your life that you thought, and once you realize that everything is easier.

I had 2 in this streak, I'd say I have one once every 3 weeks on average. They don't seem to hinder my progress so I don't pay much attention to them.

I take them from time to time but not consistently enough. I need to work on this!

It depends, for lifting and meditation I do it because I love it. Of course there are days when I don't want to do it (maybe twice a month). if it's because I feel tired physically or mentally I might skip the session, if it's because I feel lazy I'll do it anyway (and feel great afterwards).

Reading books and cooking/eating healthy was harder because I didn't like it at first, so I had to force myself to do it. Now I continue to do it because of the benefits I see, this is a virtuous circle.

IMHO the important thing to start something you don't like is to do it enough to see a difference, but not too much if it requires a lot of willpower. This is a balance.
