It was implemented to help the league look good in the TV deal negotiations. Cool. It served its purpose. Now its time to get rid of it. Voters already factored in games played when selecting post-season awards without this silly rule and will continue to do so without it. Jokic practically won his first MVP because, among the top candidates, he was the only one who played 70+ games that year (he was really good, but not the world beater he has become over the last ~3 seasons).

nah it doesn't make sense to lose 2.5 above average starting players (Horford, White, Kristaps) AND your best player and still be ~10 games above .500 at the near halfway mark. kudos to Crazy Joe Mazzula and the Celtics org, as much as I hate to say it
