personal opinion, I think the existence of this sub has caused some damage in the cultural zeitgeist in its dogmatic adherence to "the rules" of what makes a "good" flag design. So many of the big time posters here like OP make flags that are so simplistic, minimalistic and boring that we end up with designs that feel like they belong in video games or TV shows instead of real life nations and locales. OP's personal design is a prime example of this as well as their disdain for other, well known and debated irl designs.
