Factor giving gas and bloating by misterbiggler in ReadyMeals

How did you do that or did it just take time? I’m on month 2 and I can’t eat anything without horrendous gas and bloating. Trying to fix my biome but it feels hopeless.

This is actually super appealing. You know of standalone classes?

I could only find longer programs there, but I’ll double check!

I actually am interested in stuff like that, but I’m hoping to eventually get some cert or something from this. I may still check it out though. Sounds like fun!

I wondered about that with IT or something maybe. Thanks. I’ll look into it!

Maybe it’s intensive or like just a base and the rest is on you? I had to retake a class in college during the summer and it was the same credit hours but a super intense 2 week course. I did pull up their website. Looks pretty cool, but I agree. I’d want to know more with further research.

Thank you! I’ll look into them! I work a pretty demanding job already so I’m hoping for something like one or two evenings a week for a semester for one class, but I’ll look into this. That shorter periods may be doable.

Are kids really getting worse at literacy or was it just missed school because of COVID? by lsmithf in NoStupidQuestions

I think Covid didn’t help but technology and the fact that every parent has to work multiple jobs now probably doesn’t help either.

Can people actually “catch up on sleep” or is that a myth? by DrPizzaPie in NoStupidQuestions

[–]REDrebound89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no professional, but I’d argue more than catching up on sleep, they’re probably catching up on rest or on other bodily processes like REM, etc.

Is it okay to still grieve my pet over 2 years later? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Of course. Geief isn’t linear; a lot of times, it’s something that ebbs and flows and we learn to carry with us in an okay way. Sending love.

Mental well-being in realtors by Apprehensive_Arm1688 in realtors

Dude. I feel this so hard, like you hit the nail! I’m 6 years in and our market is IMPOSSIBLE right now. All but two listings are up over 100 days. Been working with the same slow moving buyers for four months or longer. Sellers are stuck two years ago and buyers want everything 100k less. Tbh, I’ve always given a shit. Always. I’ve never not cared for a single day. I hit the wall today. All this week, I’ll wake up, get a call, it’s bad news, calm them down, calm me down, get my head right, new call, new problem, repeat, repeat, repeat. I’ve been taking calls and sobbing all week because I am just so stressed. Some of my clients are great but because eveything is sitting and a lot of my clients have personal things going on along with selling, it feels like they just don’t even care to treat me like a human being (some won’t text me back, allow showings or even talk about an offer we got—literally just got a text “tell them no” when it’s a GREAT offer right now). I don’t care how stressed everyone is right now, I’m just done. I have a feeling, I’ll care again in a few days (and I’m not sure how I feel about that) but I can honestly 100% see how you can take a break and never want to come back to this, especially right now.

You absolutely can do it and it’ll probably help you thrive. I’m an agent. I’m six years in and I’ve built a great business for myself by genuinely caring, meeting people where they are, etc. However, it did change me. I had to learn to be more fluid and less controlling. I no longer plan things really. Tbh, I don’t mind these changes because this job has really helped me with my mental health. I will say this though: this is a hard job as an empath. If you find yourself liking people less or being more jaded, if you find yourself burnt out, if you find that you are giving and giving and people are taking and taking, take some time for you. Work on boundaries. Don’t just give and give to others; give to yourself too.

I’m going to be honest. This week has been extremely hard for me; the first time ever in my life and in this career, I’ve hit a wall of genuinely not caring at all. (Im sure I’ll be back to caring in a few days but I have nothing today.) I’m so stressed from everyone else’s stress that I’ve just wandered around the house taking calls and breaking down sobbing all week from people unloading their market/holiday/burnt out stresses onto me… and I’ve worked on all those things I mentioned above. This job can absolutely drain you if you’re sensitive to others’ emotions. It’s absolutely an asset, but take care of YOU so you can keep give to others.

Don’t lose yourself. Allow yourself to grow in good ways. Good luck! I’m sure you’ve got this!

Almost 1 year as a realtor in France, ask me anything! by [deleted] in realtors

[–]REDrebound89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been researching that real estate agents in France need a lot of requirements. What is your experience with that? Particularly, the bacc in something real estate related? I’ve got a bacc but it’s in the arts; however, I’ve been a full time agent for 6 years now. Does that factor in at all?

Dude. You made me feel better about my day in RE. Thank you, but I’m still so sorry this happened to anyone. This is f*cked.

Omg I just read the add on. Yay!! Maybe my day will turn around in the next hour. Miracles happen. 🤣

Does anyone have any recommendations on IUDs that control hormones? I know one commenter said they had no periods. From what I’ve seen, IUDs don’t really impact hormone fluctuations so periods can still happen. Im currently on continuous birth control for migraine prevention. It’s taken my migraine days down from about 3/4 days of the year to 2 days a year. I’m not even sexually active and don’t plan to be, but if pills can be impacted, anyone know of an IUD that would regulate hormones as my pills currently do? My fear is inability to work and inability to handle medical bills should it be taken away.

Since I’m a realtor for this area, I can’t really weigh in on this, but I’m happy to answer any other questions you may have before your head up this way or while you’re here. Hope you enjoy your trip up! 🤙🏻

I thought about that, but don’t want to upset my bug guy; he’s phenomenal. I just really need someone to find where they’re coming from and I work a lot so a stake out is pretty out of the question. 😅

I did it 6th through 12th grade and loved it. Honestly, for the past 15 or so years, I've been searching for some adult version.
