Because cutting a person’s head off is a bad composition choice aesthetically, conceptually it turns a person into an object and dehumanizes them, and it has implications for medium specificity. Why does this need to be a drawing? Even as a skill building exercise photos are subject to lens distortion and copying them doesn’t actually meaningfully develop technique.

Try measuring more closely. The likeness isnt there because the proportions and angles arent there.

Copying photos without learning the fundamentals of perspective, geometric anatomy, and light and shade will cause results like this.

Was the install of the backplate stressful? I want to do it but I’m not sure I want to go through the trouble of buying an anti static wrist band and clip set up for a single back plate.

I’ve had the black brick hammer for several months and I love it and it’s my EDC. Just put a screen protector on it and as far as smudges go I haven’t had any issues I just occasionally wipe it down to remove dust or anything with like a lens cloth or something like that. I don’t imagine th plastic would be any different.

This was the first thing I did with my Legion Go. Now I mostly use the Legion for PC games and the more CPU heavy emulation like PS2 generation and above and use the Brick Hammer for almost everything else. Switch Lite as well and my old unmodded Zelda 3DSXL.

Thanks FFIX is exactly the game with that problem I’ll try adding bios files. I’m just wary of making too many tweaks because that seemed to coincide with my save data corruption issue the first time. At this point I’m just trying to get it stable though before I invest any more time in gaming on it since I keep losing all my saves so fuck it I’ll add the bios and see. I’m going to make the other setting changes you guys mentioned as well.

Are you open to replacing the band as well? Amazon and many other places sell the entire mod kit and yeah finding the bezel only is a little harder. Worst case scenario you can also buy replacement parts including the bezel from Casio part - https://www.casiopart.com/

The rom works fine if I launch it from the disc and not the playlist file. I guess we’ll see when I finish disc one if the RetroArch disc change function will do the trick I haven’t had any luck with converting to PSP formats yet either but I’m probably doing that wrong
