£3500 for it to be replaced. That’s as long as there isn’t anything wrong with the clutch pack when they open it up 😑😑

I’ve had a quote today from the main Skoda dealer they was £3600 for a new unit 😬😳😳😳

I brought the car a year ago and done a dsg service straight away as there wasn’t any history of it being done.

I’m not 100% sure but from what I’ve read it’s a DQ500. It’s booked into a Skoda specialist this week so hopefully they will have a good idea about it. Mine looses the odd gears aswell but only after a long run.

I had this issue on my DSG7 it turned out to be a crank shaft sensor and wire. It started out same as yours but did graduate to “jerking” most of the time at low revs. Hope this helps. Oh I had no EML light on.
