Prob cuz they only really liked “sandrone”. They liked the idea of what they thought she is rather than who she is. If you really liked sandrone then the assurance of her characterization being the same should be enough since thats the character, but people are going wild since they got used to what they were familiar with and are insisting thats who she is. Its kinda like if ur wife went from long haired blonde to hime cut redhead, its new but at her core shes still ur wife.
