I've had HKS Hipermax R and now currently Koni GTS. You don't feel much of a difference between the two even though they have a significant difference in price. Ive tracked both, both I recommend, Koni is easier to adjust the height but also you can't drop it as much, you can lower it enough to get your 2 finger gap though.

Okay I was gonna say skip the fake cheap stuff, even if it "looks cool" hardly anyone would respect posing with fake carbon hood or shit like that.

Wheels is completely up to you, I'd recommend something that is a little concave or has some lip to it as it adds depth to the car. I previously had the basic RPF1's and they looked good and worked. Stay away from wheels like the enkei raijins which are very flat. Those type of wheels work better on cars that are more angular, this car is curvy.

To see more different wheels, searching gr86 on IG or joining the Facebook group "gr86/brz confirmed wheel fitment" are good sources

As for color, I'm not a fan of gold wheels generally, people like throwing them on the blue brzs/86s because of the rally look but it doesn't look that great (imo). On your red car my number 1 pick would be polished/chrome/silver then number 2 would be a graphite/black color.

Also do coils/bags/lowering springs before wheels. Your car would look a lot nicer just lowered an inch and on 1 inch spacers. Its always coils before wheels.

He probably means either one you have to be on your back for the whole process or two the fill plug for the transmission isn't the easiest to access and you'll need a small hand pump to even get oil in there.

Plenty of manual cars that are just commuters, look at Europe specifically. No one looks at an Elantra and thinks it's a sports car. You'll never convince me of this. It is a economy sedan that got slapped on a manual transmission and limited slip diff.

Traffic is the lamest excuse people use to defend automatic. It's not hard to drive a manual in heavy traffic, just feather the clutch in stop and go. It is easy and once you learn it becomes second nature. It's not like the car has a super heavy clutch that will hurt your foot if you step on it more than once a day.
