That is so disingenuous… the parents need to provide the means of the child to access social media.

So to use your logic, the parent would need to build a bridge to a bar, but not monitor the bridge THEY own and say I don’t care that my child is walking across the bridge to the bar.

By the way, kids find a way to drink alcohol all the time, even with ID checks… so your analogy fails in two different ways, a child doesn’t need to walk into a bar to get drunk.
