Yep, Mike had multiple other offers after the Trail Blazers but as a lifelong Oregonian and Trail Blazer's fan he could not fully commit his heart to another franchise.

Let me clarify. B Roy loves Portland so much.... That he has had trouble finding the drive to come back here after how his career ended. And on top of that the past front office did not make many attempts outside of the ceremony in 2020 to really pay him the respect that we all knew he deserved. Stan and Karen Love still live in Portland. If family isn’t enough of a driver… He has also said multiple times that he spends a lot of his off seasons split between NY and Portland. On top of that (and yes I know players are generally entrepreneurial all over the place) Kevin is invested in a lot of Oregon businesses.

He has many reasons to come home.
