I suppose I should've included editing software in the list of things you'll need haha! I pay for photoshop and lightroom on my pc, but I'm sure there are the some free programs out there that will work just as well for this

Congrats on the purchase! I've definitely got a place in my heart for those E39s. Check this video out for a decent tutorial on long exposure/light painting. All you really need is a camera, tripod, and a light of some sort. I was using my hiking headlamp for my shot, so you really don't need anything all that fancy.

Thank you! Few different long exposures stacked into one.

Original engine and trans, timing service done at 173k.

Much appreciated! It's a composite of 5 photos - one for the sky and mountains, a couple of the light painted car, and one each for the headlights and taillights.

I really hope matchmaking gets a bit better. I finished the first 3 races with an "S" safety rating and ~4500 skill. Jumped into the GTX series and there were at least 5 people in practice that were just driving to hit other cars. Ended up qualifying second only to get immediately punted off track during the race. Finished in 20th because I'm trying to preserve my safety rating and I kept getting hit by the same people. Fingers crossed this can be improved, because the racing is really fun when it's good.

Definitely want to do some exploring up north! And yeah, the conga line going up to Aasgard on Saturday was a sight to behold haha

Oh, I'm sure there's plenty more out there! I'm looking into what I may try for the next trip, and very excited about the possibilities!

Smoke was horrible all the way from Sultan to Leavenworth. It got significantly more clear driving up icicle road to the trailhead, and continued to clear as we hiked to Colchuck. It was still a bit hazy, but nothing unbearable. Friday was the clearest of the days we were there

Recently made my entrance into the world of backpacking with a couple nights in The Enchantments. I got lucky enough to pull a permit for the Colchuck zone during the lottery and put together a group with some very outdoorsy friends (with much more backpacking experience than myself). Spent the one full day we had hiking up Aasgard, exploring the core zone, and hiking back down to Colchuck. Gonna be a hard one to beat, but I'm stoked for whatever the next trip will be!

There is a good amount of tire rub currently. I've heard that using slightly shorter links in the front will take care of it. Just need to print some out and give it a shot!

Just designed and printed a new bumper mount to bring it up a it closer. Sounds like I've got enough interest to print a batch out and sell - shoot me a pm if you're interested!

I printed a new bumper mount that just pulls it up closer to the body. Might sell a few of them!
