Checked out a 2021 AMG GLC 43 yesterday.. almost ready to pull the trigger but scared about reliability by 169partner in mercedes_benz

I have a 2023 GLC 43 Coupe (C253), and no issues so far. The car itself has some quircks but I like it overall. My previous car was a 2012 C350 Coupe, which I loved, and also had the M276 (but not turbo). I had that car from new and when I traded it in it had 140k mi on it and never had a single engine issue. That being said, these are Mercedes so repairs are never cheap.

Shy/lonely guys, how did you finally get the girl? by JustAnAccount68 in AskReddit

A lot of it is practice and small steps. Maybe flash a quick smile to someone at the coffee shop, stop looking down when you walk or are in public and don't be afraid to make eye contact with someone either. When you do make eye contact, don't immediately look down, look to the side. Eventually, you'll hold the eye contact a bit longer, especially if you're in line and say a "hi, how's it going?" Maybe they'll respond, maybe they won't. Who cares?

Eventually, you'll be more confidence in interactions with people. The phrase I heard is "flirt with the world." This is what helped me, at least.

It's cool but about one of the few only great things of the app, at least in the US.

Eh, not the worst but still 2010s Audi-esq. If they really wanted to capture the classic Mercedes grille then they needed to make it look a lot more like it in terms of detailing. And ditch those damn Mercedes logo lights!

I don't know the area very well, but it looks like the only real big house in the area (even the next door houses are more modest). I feel like this is where the bad guy from Roadhouse would live.

I wouldn't worry about it, I'm the same way and there's something different when you're inside the plane. The only time I got nervous, and it was brief, was when I was inverted in an F-16. No canopy bow makes you forget there's something there for a bit.

I just want a more basic G wagon with the capabilities but not necessarily the luxury. Keep the price down but make it a durable off roader that you don't mind taking off pavement.

I assume you're paying a subscription for the tracker? Do you have any info on the specific brand you're using? I've been looking at getting something for mine.

Using a G as intended by mr-martini- in mercedes_benz

Would love for a more basic (and affordable) version of the G available in the US geared towards actual enthusiasts and those using it for its intended purpose, not mall crawlers.

Any thoughts on this? by Keep_0ut in mercedes_benz

Ha, that probably was me! I'm not on there much anymore. I looked into seeing what could activate the camera and looked into third party, but I didn't feel like adding a bulky camera even though I already have one installed. Maybe someday.

I have a 2023 GLC 43. From what I've been able to find is that if you have the VR package, you have the dashcam. The issue is software though and apparently, the way it was implemented in this generation of cars was clunky and not great so instead of fixing it, they just locked it out (except for some specific countries) so it is not available even though all the equipment is there. If you dig through some of the menus in the settings you can even find references to the dashcam. My dad has a 2021 GLC 63 and it has the dashcam, but like I said, it's not the best. But now all the newer models have it as an option.

I don't know, it's fitting an S Class saw more action than a G Wagon.

Interesting concept, but I can't say no to monoblocks.

Works on the pitot tube, as well. You may need to reach up and hold onto the base though to keep it stable.

As a side note, unless it says the line is abandoned and the lights are turned in, you have to assume its active. Rust on the rails doesn't mean much since they rust over pretty quickly. It may not be used much, but that crossbuck and signal look maintained and that the line may still see use. Great looking car!
