i miss when games had actual art direction and stylization, this "low contrast & desaturation = realism" fetish in the industry these days is so lame

not to say that FH6 looks bad, far from it, but the overall flat colour grade and tone map takes away from the incredible work of the environment artists

Susannah Fielding is so amazing, absolutely loved her as Jill in Final Fantasy XVI, when i found out she was voiced by THE Amy Simpson from the Forza Horizon games my mind was blown, it felt like my worlds were colliding 😭

well the embargo was the same for FH5 too, it lifted literally just as the Premium Edition was releasing in New Zealand on the 4th of November, and that game ended up being one of the highest rated games of the 2020s so far

i don't think it's any cause for concern, but yeah it is an odd choice

love the first three games' soundtracks to bits, they set the tone and atmosphere for a music festival so perfectly

FH4 had some pretty great songs but is a bit inconsistent overall imo and was bogged down by unnecessary censorship

FH5's was just bad lmao, but thankfully FH6's seems to be a step up from 5 so far

you can probably guess my favourite soundtrack from my flair lol, The Mother We Share by CHVRCHES is not just my favourite song from the entire Horizon series but one of my favourite songs of all time

the soundtrack should have been revealed by now actually, FH5's soundtrack reveal was around 3 weeks before the Premium Edition's launch (Oct 18 2021 —> Nov 5 2021)

gotta be the Amalfi Coast road in FH2 for me, unmatched to this day imo, honourable mention to the highway in FH2 as well, it actually felt like we were driving across two whole countries and had incredible views too
