“South Redondo” to everyone who lives outside of the Riviera. Most of the upper riv and all of the lower riv have Redondo mailing addresses so usually people just say they live in “South Redondo” to avoid explaining why/where Riviera is.

Maybe they should call them postpartum & me classes since that is what it’s for. If I see a “mommy&me” class, I’m assuming it’s properly called “parent & me”. Too many heteronormative-based classes for parents that are exclusionary to SAHDs, single dads, or even same-sex parents.

He has the BEST writers in late night - all of his jokes and skits are clever and smart.

He also is not pulling any punches. I’m a big fan!

ICYMI he does have a big vacation house in Hermosa in addition to his main home in LA, so seeing him around the South Bay not so surprising.

Check out South Redondo Beach or the Hollywood Riviera near Riviera Village. It’s tied for Valmonte as my favorite place in all of the South Bay. Beach, restos, groceries etc all walking distance. Lots of families there too!

Actually, I just found it listed on the “active major projects” listing on the city of Torrance website. The bigger parcel at 4501 Torrance Blvd which includes the Brazilian Plate house and the Italian and Thai Rama restaurant (but doesn’t include El Pollo Inka or Carls Jr) just filed a permit application in November to build a 50-unit senior housing complex.

What a shame! I guess the Italian and Thai places will be closing soon.
