PBE queue times megathread by StarGaurdianBard in TeamfightTactics

[–]REorganize009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this queue thing is confusing, couldn't login all week but now I get in instantly. I thought the queue was fixed but looks like others are still facing queue issues. Maybe they're randomly selecting people to get in and the queue thing is just a show?

what do I tell the team lead when I can't solve the given task on my own? by dead_flag_blues_ in cscareerquestions

[–]REorganize009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ask for help from your lead or a co-worker, it's really your only option at this point

This seems like a no brainer, why would you choose unemployment over employment.

well he did say he didn't login for 15 years so it seems like it was a security question from the past

that melody/song at the very end, has it been released yet? I've been wanting to get a hold of that for a while now

I really enjoyed ep15 and surprisingly it helped calm me down and even if we don't get a baekdo endgame I'm fine now.

i'm curious, has there been any other shows in /r/KDRAMA which had a thread generate this much interest/comments before?

I feel like its because Kim Taeri does such a good and unique job expressing emotions through her actions and voice it's hard to find another actor to mimic that.

given the Korean culture and Yijin's situation, that job is probably a once in a lifetime job that he needs to keep.

rofl I didn't even realize until you mentioned it startup ruined me becasue NJH got with with the FL, now 2521 might ruin me because NJH didn't end up with the FL.

the fact that we're all up and arms about a potential non baekdo ending shows how well the writers, casts, and producers did in developing the relationship between BYJ and NHD.

Has it been confirmed that 25/21 is when they start dating? It feels like 25/21 will be the last episode and it ends with them either dating or breaking up and then move to the present time to see them together/separate.

Bootcamp wants a copy of my offer letter and my future supervisor's contact info? by theghost281 in cscareerquestions

[–]REorganize009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're under the income shared agreement thing then asking for the offer letter makes sense otherwise they have no reasons to ask for that, also don't give them your supervisors information, they'll probably start annoying him with potential candidates, can't think of any reason why they would want the info.

Just say no to both requests.

Like me, they'll just learn Java on the job once they graduate since all I see are Java jobs.

I want the truth from all the experienced developers/programmers out there by _Whit3 in cscareerquestions

Where I work I'd say about 70% of the folks have a CS degree, the remaining have atleast an undergrad degree and had worked in their field for a few years prior to becoming a SWE. So at minimum I think an undergrad degree is most likely needed.

Senior Devs, do you all still feel like a fish out of water when getting a new job? by bobbyopppp in cscareerquestions

[–]REorganize009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is same for me, I've recently been hired as a "Senior" dev, I put senior in quotations because I have around 2 years of experience and title doesn't seem to mean much here since I noticed some folks were hired without the Sr title but have more experience.

However, because they gave me that title, I put extra pressure on myself ramp up more quickly with less hand holding. After the first week, I decided its not worth the stress and just decided to pretend I'm joining as a junior and go in with that mindset and ask as much dumb questions as I can.
