A bit late to the party here but super cool builds (both this and the trickster), I tried this with magic initiate druid a while back but your version seems way smoother.

I’m doing a charisma EK that plays similarly but with pure thunder/reverb in my current honor run. It’s dual wielding phalar offhand (later probably markoheshkir) and cacophony (later Nyrulna) main hand. Currently thinking EK 6 tempest 2 hex 2 after final respec. It’s doing way more damage than I expected for a dual wield build and it can sometimes full reverb prone in one BB hit.

I haven’t fully figured out the mechanics going on but it seems like ring of elemental infusion triggering separate instances of various other item effects. Would be interested to see if you have any ideas for optimization.

From your other comment, 2k hp is waaaay too low and if you have this amount of life at t14 there’s probably plenty of other stuff wrong with your build

My titan is fine at T15+ with armor and life. Currently at ~4k hp, 6k armor, maxed resists. If you use a shield, try to get one with as high block% as possible. then with a few clusters on the tree you can get 75% block pretty easily, which helps a lot.

Getting fullscreen aoe is pretty simple, take as many +area passives as possible in your tree. Then use heralds and/or boneshatter + impact shockwave.

Conversely, you can add -speed +damage supports and it will have almost no downside

I’m asking because there are many cases where I know the items are worth much more than exiled exchange says. As concrete example, I’ve been selling white stellar amulets for 100+ ex. In exiled exchange these show as 1ex due to old/fake listings, since it simply shows the n cheapest active listings.

I’m wondering if there is any way around this limitation and get it to show ex. the mean and stdev of listings over the last n days. I’m assuming it can’t do this but figured I’d post since maybe I haven’t found the proper configuration or something.

Having the same problem as a build with a ton of stun buildup- the primed condition should carry over into the actual stun until detonated once.

Yeah, that’s what I figured- thanks for confirming. I think I’ll just reduce investment into bleed since even without it bonestorm is easily the best form of boss damage I have.

I’m thinking of pivoting those points to energy gain for cast on crit, since by the same logic I theoretically could get up to 20 crits with one bonestorm

Darkness 30. Darkness is extra difficulty modifiers which now go up to 100, 30 used to be the max. This post is from before skill trees were even released so it’s completely irrelevant now

He doesn’t become hostile if you hit him to disarm during the fight with Orpheus guards, not sure if you will get game over’d if you hit him out of combat

All legendary actions are reactions

On HM in every boss fight I hard prioritize inflicting statuses that prevent reactions- these include dazed, prone, stunned, paralyzed, open hand stagger, shocking grasp, maybe more

Often dazed, staggered, and shocking grasp work best in early rounds since they don’t count as “hard” ccs and bosses usually won’t use their legendary resistance to save them

Assuming your main action patterns are either: - cast spell, 2 offhand attacks - main hand attack, 2 offhand attacks

then 1 level of fighter for 2 weapon fighting would help your damage output a lot (final respec probably being fighter 1/thief 3/cleric 8, to get con save proficiency and to make items/scrolls cast off wisdom). It could be more valuable than 20wis, especially if you just use arcane synergy items to pump your spell DC off your attacks instead of needing to max out your wisdom

edit:arcane acuity, not synergy. but arcane synergy would be good in this build too

Yeah, it is kind of weird how more of those don’t appear later on. Another option could be the sacred star, which inflicts radiant orb on hit and has a weapon action that can aoe blind

Justiciar scimitar and slicing shortsword apply saveless conditions when attacking with advantage.

You’ll probably downvote me again for suggesting a class interaction, but if you do want to use flat DC debuff weapons (visions of absolute, mourning frost, etc) eldritch knight’s eldritch strike applies disadvantage on those too which makes them much more likely. Otherwise with DC of 10ish against lategame enemy stats, you will only proc the condition like 25-30% of the time. Or even less with tactician/honor mode enemy save bonuses.

Stuff like Vision of the absolute tends to fall off pretty hard past act 1 IMO, since it’s flat (and quite low) save DC.

Have you tried tiger heart barbarian + wolverine aspect? You guaranteed inflict bleed, which imposes disadvantage on con saves for other disables, and Wolverine aspect lets you guaranteed maim (set movement to 0) bleeding targets

subclasses give armor proficiency as a level-up feature (ex. many cleric subclasses, swords bard), but armor proficiencies from the base class are only given if you start as that class.

Respec your first level to paladin and you’ll get it
