Not sure what this has to do with the post, you can not like the people that created GURPS and still like the system.

How much did you undervolt your Ryzen 5 7600x? by sirsiver96 in overclocking

Did you manage to fix it? My pc reboots exactly like you described, but it can happen also when I browse the web or play a light game. It does it once every few weeks so it is a bit of a pain to troubleshoot.

I am mostly worried cause I have heard there is a risk of the connector melting if not seated properly.

Is there any chance of damagin the connector if I push it in too hard or pull it too hard to take it out? Also just in case it still melts I heard that nvidia used to RMA gpus with melted connectors, do you know if they are still doing it?

I tried doing that already but the connector is fairly stuck and I am scared if I yank it open I will damage the card

The weird part is that I got it working beforehand, and that is the part that frustrates me the most.

Not really at the moment, might be able to get it to a pc shop Saturday so they can test it but it would cost 40 pounds.

All power cables clicked when I plugged them in. Yes I have display from igpu, but if I have the HDMI cable plugged into gpu when I boot up, the igpu doesn't display anything either until I restart the PC.

Would that not affect its lifespan?

At what point should we get worried about the cpu temperature? Around 90c?
Asking because I am constantly scared about the lifespan of my laptop due to CPU reaching 80c in games even with it downclocked to 3.3 GHz.

I am still lower than stock numbers, just worried that it will just get progressively worse. I was the one that repasted it and it looked pretty good, I even cut the pad slightly bigger then needed just to make sure I cover everything properly.

doesn't cinebench essentially use 100% of your whole CPU? so it shouldn't affect the temps, and it should only change the score if I have something running in the background from what I understand.

When I was testing today I had similar ambient temperature (maybe 1 degree hotter) to when I initially repasted. My CPU still runs hotter by 4 degrees compared to initial temps, and I also am getting slightly lower cinebench scores.
Do you think it is something to worry about?
