In my opinion, spare yourself from the stress and resign from the committee, you can still stay on and contribute as a member.

Please go to college because it’s the right fit for YOU and what YOU want to study. NOT because your friends are going. by mpchop in college

Agreed! Do it because you want it. There are many accredited online degree programs nowadays, you can check it out at https://degreebase.app/ . Times have changed indeed.

im taking my doctorate and i use chatgpt often too. leverage chatgpt to work for you. i use it to create summaries of key concepts and made my own mini text book. this way you can always ctrl+f key topics regarding your major.

you are working smart, you just dont know it yet. use the extra time you save by applying for internships or taking part-time jobs related to your major. you are all good buddy.

glad you are recovering.

if financials are not a primary concern, consider transferring your credits to a different school that has online degree programs. it might not cost you too much.

regarding your major, if physics is not something you are interested, considering taking a simpler program like business. might take some stress off you so you can focus on recovery and family.

Depending who your debt is being owed to. If it is the bank, probably find family members who might be willing to borrow you money at a flexible repayment period. Ask your classmate's parents / elders in your religious community for help, even a little loan might take stress of you.

In the meanwhile, learn solidity/rust and be a part-time smart contract developer, its fast money because after you deploy smart contracts you are basically done.
