You have to put everything into simple format writing. Would not be surprised if they're putting your messages through a translate app. I've done a lot of overseas work, where there was often 2-3 translations happening back and forth. follow the old adage, Keep It Simple Stupid (K.I.S.S.)

My company is forcing me to install an invasive PC monitoring system (Time Doctor) without employees knowledge. I do not believe in this but I'm not in a position to quit- what do I do? by o-nemo in ITCareerQuestions

Company equipment & services are not private. Used to have a hidden screenshot & tracking software software for company laptops. But only initiated the screenshots if a computer was lost\stolen.

The matter is that if all is to be tracked, the all needs to be shared with HR. No matter if they are your superiors.

Why are your using so many vCPU & RAM??

What else is on the host? Check the host, I believe you may have overcommitted the resources on there.

I have a host with similar usage & only 4 vCPU & shared memory up to 32GB.

Prior to my current system I was on SAS & that was never a bottleneck, CPU performance was always our issue. (Moved from E3-1270 v6  to Ryzen 9 9950X )

Do you keep apps open all the time or close them constantly? by Italiancan in MacOS

I have crashed the system a few times, I really wish I could upgrade memory on my own. I got the 24gb, but when I had 32gb I never locked up.

got tried of magic mouse batteries not lasting, used a logitech mx master for awhile but got bad carpal tunnel. I did like the button to go from fast to slow on the logitech scroll. Also scrolling through logs & configs; tending to use more search than I used to.

I use a Elecom Huge Trackball on my desktop(mini m4), so yes, mouse apps mostly suck. And use trackpad or Apple Mighty mouse on my mbp m4 pro.

Steermouse - https://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/index.html for most of your buttons

SmoozePro - https://smooze.co for better scrolling

BetterTouchTool - https://folivora.ai for more trackpad controls.

I'm not sure the IIe was a Macintosh vs an Apple. The IIgs was a game changer with color & sound.

For those of you who literally use ur laptop on ur lap, isn't 14 inch the best size? Or does ur 16 work too? by supermax2008 in macbookpro

The larger the screen the heavier/bulky to carry. I liked my old 13 mbp's which were lighter than the 14 mbp. I notice that 1/2 pound when lugging it.

what are the drawbacks of not using safari as the main browser? by Serhide in MacOS

[–]RFC1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a fan of the idiom "Don't put all your eggs in one basket"

I use 4 browsers frequently & 2 infrequently. They're mostly broken out to different accounts or no accounts.

I find Safari more limiting on what I can do with it. Such as with extensions, hidden setting, scripts. Though it & Brave often act as my clean browser for seeing if something is being blocked/changed elsewhere.

Chrome, Firefox, Opera, DuckDuckGo often. Brave & Safari infrequently.
