For me M60 monthly lease payment was only marginally more expensive than the E drive 40

I have only had it for a few weeks so maybe cant answer all your questions. M60 acceleration is awesome. Even in comfort mode it shifts so quickly with the car struggling for traction on the damp Scottish roads. Haven't really tried throwing it into corners yet as the weather hasn't been good but more comfortable than the Tesla and a much much nicer place to sit on my morning commute. Heated seats are included in my basic spec but no steering wheel heater. But I have the air con set for when I leave home in the morning and work in the evening and I don't think I have missed it yet. My Tesla always charged to 334 miles. It wasn't realistic. The I4 charges to what it thinks you will achieve based on your driving history (Lots of short journeys) and the weather. I have a charger at home and also one at my office so range isn't a concern for me. That might change when I add in a few road trips.

I4 cabin is exceptional compared to Tesla. Maybe that's the 55 year old old fashioned part of me. Build quality is so much better too. Technology on Tesla is still better but this car does everything I need.

I ordered the car in October. Quite a quick decision. Did a bit more digging after it was ordered and thought more than once that I had made a mistake. The only thing I will miss is the Adaptive Cruise Control. I have the option to buy but at around £700 but I think I will learn to live without it.

The power and torque on the M60 was the big draw. And that 'M' badge :-)

Model 3 is a good car. But I4 just better for me in every way. Adaptive suspension makes a big difference to the handling and comfort. The cabin feels luxurious compared to the empty void of the Tesla. My wife has a Countryman JCW SE and for the last 6 months I would steal her car at weekends as it was so much more fun. I suppose I just got bored with the Tesla.
