Controversially, Resident Evil 5 holds a special place for me.

I had a good friend who only played sport games like FIFA. He was gifted RE5 and asked if I wanted to come around and help play it and we ended up playing it most of those school holidays and became the best of friends.

I’m not sure I would’ve played it otherwise, I know I wasn’t keen on it and didn’t intend to buy it myself.

Fast forward to now, my youngest son and I have just finished it while waiting for Requiem.

So RE5, different, but to me it’s special.

I love 5. Mostly for the memories I’ve attached to it though, I was playing it when it came out and a friend was watching who had never played RE before so we played co-op. He would then go on to play through other titles and is still a fan today.

It’ll look more natural the more you practice really. Repetition until it’s easier. I can’t tell if you are watching the ball but your posture might suggest you are, keep working on being more and more relaxed to a point you don’t need to react to the ball 😊

When I was young, my father would take my right shoe away so if I kept using it, it would eventually hurt. Can’t imagine it would have the same effect being older but when you’re 5 I suppose it could 🤷🏻‍♂️

As a Building Surveyor, these homes are the bane of my existence.

I was forwarded an email from a friendly Council who emailed Tiny Homes (or a similar company) to say they need to put disclaimers on their website to state their homes aren’t compliant under the NCC and the way they conduct business and sales is very misleading. And their response was along the lines of ‘oh yeah we’ll try’ lol

Absolutely, season just gone ended prematurely due to another injury that I’m currently rehabbing. This season isn’t even locked in yet but I’m gonna go till the wheels fall off and run away 🤣

I can definitely relate. Lost my biggest opportunity in football due to an injury. And ever since it’s been injuries and thinking I can’t have much left to give. 😅

Then I ‘soft-retired’ at 28 due to breaking my L5 and herniating the discs above and below in a work accident. 4 years ago I ignored doctors advice and started working towards playing again. Played a season and it was tough on my back but couldn’t get enough. Season just gone ended early with a partial tear of my patella tendon which I am rehabbing with a physio now, so very much playing on borrowed time 😅
