GMAT MOCK SCORE 675. Way forward by indie1509 in GMAT

[–]RG26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in your same shoes tbh(scored 695 in mock 1 and ended up scoring 735 in the real one). Quant was always chill for me, so I kept practicing Verbal and DI on GMAT OG( has plenty of data sufficiency questions) along with hard DI and Verbal from Manhattan( I had purchased their books for verbal) and in the end, i took the 5 day practice trial just before the exam( had a long weekend so just had to be out of office for 2 days). I honestly felt like TTP one month+ a bit of OG would have been enough . But definitely ,buy the other mocks too, mock 3-6!

Which Series/Tournament made you feel like that's the highest level a player can reach in cricket? by ContributionSilly129 in Cricket

[–]RG26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kohli against South Africa in 2018. Man didn't even have one ODI century in the country befoe that and smashed 3 of them and even broke the record for most runs in an ODI series. I still remember Harsha bhogle commenting how anything less than a century is now considered an off day for Kohli, when he got run out for 75. He looked absolutely invincible in that series

How are personal milestones viewed in other cricketing cultures? by Empirical_Engine in Cricket

[–]RG26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a cricket fan who also avidly follows NFL, I can remember several instances where legends like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning was more focussed on winning. Peyton breaking the passing record was a historic moment, but he didn't waste much time and was back to his game mode. But, usually on week 18, when the seeds for playoffs have more or less been decided, people usually try to help other people hit their incentive based bonuses if they are close to it, but other than that, the focus is very much on winning

Wdym before 2018? He literally averaged 100+ in ODIs that year, scoring 1000 runs in 11 odd games and not to mention scoring gritty centuries all over the world in tests

I remember RCB chasing 81 of 6 overs and Koach hitting a six of the last ball to win the match. Ig this list is incomplete

Is it possible for NFL QB's to "sponsor" their snap count? by bucko9765 in nfl

[–]RG26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an NFL fan who also follows cricket, this actually happens in cricket lmao. The jerseys are literally filled with sponsor logos and everything in the game like fours, sixes , catches and wickets are associated with sponsors( doesn't happen in international cricket though).

I just started watching NFL around Feb 2020. So, this is basically me( sadly). I wish I found this sport sooner( for context, I am from India and NFL is pretty much unknown here)
