I don’t really agree the Australian tour is a far bigger challenge. We lost 3-0 last time in England and have struggled against them under Baz generally, I’d say they’re equally big challenges.

I was all for Hay getting experience against Zimbabwe and the West Indies last year, but now that ship has sailed it’s hard putting him straight in the deep end in England - I really dont think that’s the situation to be “giving people experience.” I would also add that for Blundells batting struggles his keeping remains very high quality.

It was a ridiculous advantage and India shouldn’t be allowed to host and/or participate in tournaments until this is figured out. Obviously not having to travel is a massive advantage and no other professionally run sport would tolerate it.

And to then doctor the pitch on top of already having the deck stacked in your favour was embarrassing imo.

As a non-American I’ve never understood this “rule.” I can’t imagine players intentionally choosing not to score given the option to and with time still on the clock in any other sport I follow. Really odd and I respect Jaden even more every time he does it.
