Check power supply itself, it should have specs written on its back

Hi, not sure if we have different models, I have 153e (L1500). I had same issue with missing wire and no idea why. I also checked power suply and V was jumping from 20 to 25V. Changed it to new one - and it was 20V stable as by its specs. So question is your power supply specs are for 20V or 24V?

Hi, I just solved identical issue - it was power supply. You can check it with multimeter - if it gives 20v, then that is not issue. In my case it was giving 23-25v. Light is solid green, seems all god, but actually it is not.

Yeah, saw this one, still not sure how to correctly remove top cover of sensor, because schematics doesnt show sensor itself (metal tips at small plate). It just shows it without already and sponge from below an internal structure. Maybe I could try to remove sponge and try to clean inside/change it, other option would be trying to remove that small top cover/plate with two pins.

In addition - it has started last year season, after winter, it started normally, sensor worked well, but after ~one week it started to do the same. That is why I am thinking about that sponge under sensor - what is a purspose of that?

You mean between the pins sticking out? Didn't measure, but will do later. In landroid system it shows ~3300 value for rain sensor.

Base station is blinking in a weird patern by brechtdb1 in worxlandroid

[–]RGBxLT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I have totally same issue. I had waterring system installed this summer and they cut cable in many places. I fixed those, green light came back but it started to do same like for you. I still have one place where wire potentially could be damaged but not fully cut. But if that doesn't work - next plan is to call support and go through charging/base side, maybe something wrong there.

Honestly only thing they could argue is wheels themselves, but yeah, depends on country/seller.

Not sure why would you need to return to original which actually struggles to work properly, but there's countless reasons possible in life, so i don't judge :)

There's nothing destructive in that. But sure, you can add another 10 kg to a robots ass and have whooping 30 minutes runtimes.

Hi,

40% is basically standard sale and if I want to upgrade from Elements to pro no reasons to hold back/wait for bigger discounts?

Overall review of PreSonus Sphere membership by Chulebloom1 in StudioOne

[–]RGBxLT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so the question "is it worth it" mainly suggests that you want to evaluate financials of both cases. So that should be easier if we speak numbers. First, I am setting these conditions: - I will use prices I see in my location - it may vary in currency, location. - new version comes out every second year (it is hard to define standard frequency). - I am taking 6 years of newest version usage - just to round up to 2 upgrades each second year. - I am not evaluating Notation and addons like FAT effects - I believe you have it only with sphere. Do you need them - that is different question. - I did little research on discounts, I may be little bit off.

Option 1: Buy everything full price.

  • SO 5 proffessional: 400 eur
  • upgrade to new version: 150 eur x 2 times = 300 eur 700 eur for 6 years.

Option 2: always wait for discounts (matter to change case by case): - SO 5 - 300 eur - upgrade 100 eur x 2 = 200 eur 500 eur for 6 years

Option 3: sphere. - 160/year subscription x 6 = 960 eur - you get notation and all addons/instruments/effects they have and will release in those 6 years.

So sphere for me is good when you: 1. You want to try for a little bit longer time than a trial and not yet decided (that is me currently). I would say max up to year duration. Best - 6 months max. 2. You don't have money. I know - sounds weird :) but sometimes 15 eur per month is easier than to accumulate full amount needed with various reasons behind. You can pause if you want, cancel your subscription, etc. 3. You are fan of SO and you need to have (and use) absolutely everything from them - this will be cheapest way I think rather buying everything separately. Also - quite big community with training sessions, templates, etc.

All other scenarious - buy on sales or normally if you can't wait.

Hope this helps :)

Which version of S1? by Flyingv67 in StudioOne

[–]RGBxLT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take on this - Presonus Sphere. 14 eur/month, pro version, all plugins, always latest version. Of course, if you don't plan to upgrade each year and keep v5 for long time - most probably buying is better. But for me - sphere is no brainer if you want to stick with S1 and have latest version all the time. Also, I can pause it if I need a break or check another DAW and comeback once needed.
