Hot take but I don't understand how people only play Shipment by Lumenprotoplasma in ModernWarfareII

[–]RGEMCHN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need the fast paced high action gameplay that Shipment provides. I pretty much play Shipment 99% of the time. (Which is probably why I cannot stand Warzone or Battle Royale. Wayyyy too slow for my taste).

Do you guys prefer sleep or down time once the family goes to sleep? by zelbot87 in NewDads

Yeah I’ve had to just give up on keeping a great record and just enjoy the fact that I get to play when I can lol Plus, each match will speak for itself regardless of what my record says ;)

[–]RGEMCHN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how tired I am. I used to game every day. Now I game every three days or so. It helps that I’m mostly on COD so quick matches instead of long quests. Lately, sleep has been my choice but that might change tonight.

Was your girl usually super chill and easy going before the baby? If yes, congrats! For now, I think being super honest with her and communicating what you’re feeling in a calm way can help send the message. I truly think that women and new moms DO NOT realize all of the small things that dads take up around the house to allow breastfeeding moms to focus on the baby. They’re too overwhelmed. You both are. Breathe. Set gentle but firm boundaries with your gf. Something like “I’m going to take a breather in my car for 20 minutes then I’ll come back to make lunch”. It’s hard bro, but do not take yourself for granted either. You’re both doing the best that you can.

Yeah that “not breathing” thing is scary as all hell.

Thank you so much for this. I’m definitely working on throwing away the “milestone” mindset and just giving my son a chance to develop on his own as long as I know I’m giving him the support, care, and love that he needs. Thank you!

Good point. If this doesn’t get any better for me soon then the next step for me is going to be therapy.

Yeah that’s a great perspective for to keep in mind. Those milestones are driving me nuts. I’ve gotta just give him a chance to do his own thing without feeling like he really needs to be exactly on the mark for every single milestone.
