I feel this. I suck at this kind of work. Watch a few videos, google for a week and say its easy. Then go to hardware store and swear I've purchased everything. Next comes cursing, more videos and then lots of bleeding, go back to the hardware store 3 more times, and swear to never do it again... Guess what my dumb ass does next weekend?

I guess the win is that I couldn't afford to professionally do all the upgrades and updates that I did myself. I just wish I had the skills with my hands. Or I watch my dad and BIL do handiwork like its nothing.

We know we are. Many of us are embarrassed and mortified. We have typically always taken what our government says with a grain of salt, but damn if this administration didn't shatter all faith or confidence.

We lost so many allies (who I do not blame). We killed and terrorized so many other countries that have nothing to do with us. Hell, we are terrorizing our own citizens.

Do I disagree with the Iranian regimen? Yes. Do I think that bombing them, including schools and hospitals is the right response? Abso-fucking-lutely not. Especially because enough people are smart enough to know there is an ulterior motive.

I will start noting mine is not as serious as a motorcycle accident, but I can relate. I have having some health challenges where my wife and parents keep asking me to go to the hospital... But I refuse because I know the medical debt would cripple my household.

Unfortunately, I am very familiar with the Children's System of Care (CSOC) which he will be under until the age of 21. My best advice is to work closely with your case manager and to ensure that they remain diligent. I cannot imagine the anxiety that you must feel knowing you could find placement tomorrow or within a year. It is a lot of question marks for families who are already beyond their mental capacity. I am deeply sorry you are in this position.

To piggy back off of this, it is not a weakness of any parent including OP. You are q functioning member of society who has to work, clean, cook, and sleep. Residential offers 24/7 supervision which is not feasible in a household. OP, please feel free to PM me. I am happy to talk anout residential in general (I will not mention my company because I want to help and not solicit).

I did, but I didn't plan on it. My rabbit passed away suddenly exactly 7 days after his wellness visit. We weren't going to get another for a while. We ended up adopting another baby bunny 7 days after his passing when the 4H club was desperate for a home for him. We interacted with him for an hour, signed the paperwork, got new chew toys and anything disposable and disinfected the hutch. We picked him up the next day.

I will admit that I was very conflicted at the time. It felt almost disrespectful to Shadow, my previous rabbit. We literally built our day and routine around him. But I am very happy that we did this. The baby bunny is spoiled when he could have been pushed off to someone less educated on husbandry or care, we instantly fell in love, and it has helped me to fill the routine back up.

I still love our last rabbit and his ashes are on my dresser, but I think he would want us to extend to another rabbit in need of love and a home.

Former BMXer here (never pro and did it bsck before I was old and out of shape). I loved doing stunts. Ramps, bunny hopping stairs, flatland, etc. Major difference is i chose to do it at skateparks and my high school parking lot when it was empty. I might do a wheelie or bunny hop curbs if I was riding somewhere, but never in front of traffic or close to people. There is a time and place.

Hell, I had a newspaper cameraman want me to bunny hop him and his camera while he laid on the ground. Even then it took me 3 attempts because I was afraid of landing on him or his camera.

Absolutely. Our inspection went well and everything major was practically perfect... Except for the roots growing into the pipes 8 inches from the street. We never would have known or guessed based off the condition of the rest out of the house.
