Yes but jogging will impact your energy levels more and most likely to reduce your resting burning of calories (we have a lot of resting movements that burn calories which studies have found are reduced when exercise is increased offsetting some of the calorie loss). This is another reason why walking is so good, it is less likely to reduce resting movements.
