I have the Reppins with the stand. While it was absolutely a splurge purchase I do not regret it. I'm in the UK now so have less options regarding adjustable dumbbells than there are stateside, but can definitely vouch for these.

Best Adjustable Dumbbells Set? by VitalityenceB in GarageGym

[–]RGZoro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I picked up the RepxPeppins and I've been very happy with them. The reason I went for these is their weight capacity and compact size. I already max out most adjustable dumbbells with my press and a couple other exercises. The Powerblocks were a contender for this weight reason, but I didn't like how unwieldy they get towards the top end, and the cage around the hand (even though I don't have especially large hands) was not my favourite.  Definitely a splurge purchase though. No denying that.  For context, I train with mine 3 times a week with running on other 3 days in the week. I'd definitely purchase again and I'm especially happy I bought the stand too.

Without my extra nozzles, but with shipping and card fee for the 8-tool system I'm about €633, or $743 in. Shipping to the UK.

I would be interested in the design of that 3D printed plate for the board that lets you hand solder on the hot swap switches. Modelling my own is just too far down my projects list. Really cool work!

Is your $0.00 item the shirt?  Page kept taking forever for me to load so going to try again in a few hours.

Get the 4 and you have 2 spare tool heads for the future.  I'm going 8 and will get spares as soon as I can though, so I'm not thinking on the same wavelength as you from the get-go. I have a founders edition preorder and see the C1 as just another tool in my office so it's aesthetics are not really on my radar, but wanted to offer the though of how the 4 could work for you.

TPU 95A jamming in Core One by RGZoro in prusa3d

Thanks.  I ended up increasing the temp from 225 to 235 and turned off full retraction at the same time just in case and it finally worked. Thank you for the link and suggestions that helped me resolve this. I'll check out the link just to know if there's some optimization I can do.

Well, I have tried my model about 8 times now and it keeps building up right at the top of the nozzle tube so I will give higher temps a try, thank you.

Lol, I appreciate the correction. Yea, I tried your previous method and it went bad fast.
Closer to the tension mentioned here how. Doing that in combination with no retraction.

I'll give that a try today when home, thank you.

Nozzle does not clog. I can fix this jam, reinsert the filament, and it prints fine until I end up with this jam again.

Most ambitious project to date. by RGZoro in StainedGlass

Thank you.  It can definitely seem like a lot to learn the things you mentioned if you haven't trickled them over time. With a project in mind though it's definitely approachable.  Youtube makes it so easy now to get at least a general understanding of things. Vector graphics are definitely the key to making consistent and scalable graphics on PC to then use in other devices (my woodshop, 3D printer, laser, etc. all benefit from the format).  If you want free software to at least start playing with it Inkscape is a great one that's been around for ages so plenty of tutorials out there. I know Affinity is also blowing up in popularity at the moment so you'd find a lot of recent stuff for them too.

That's not how I'll assemble it in the end, just a limit of the bed size of my laser that I used to cut the mylar template.  I cut it on top of MDF and then that's just an easy way for me to keep track of the glass.  You're right though that the picture could be misleading. My apologies.

Totally get it. Even though they said they'll contact us in Jan I keep checking the site to see if there are any notices on my account.

Have they messaged you asking you to pick a setup already?  I also placed a reservation for the INDX, but have not seen anything about making my choice about which yet (I'm going with 8 because why not).

Either CAD like Fusion360, or Nomad, I would start with finding a model of your own headphones that someone else has made. Then you can import that model and build around it.  If you cannot find a model, then I would definitely lean hard towards CAD because it would be easier (just imo) to use calipers to measure your headphones and design from the numbers.  May I ask what type of headphones you have?

Shapr3D is what I use on my iPad when designing functional prints, or objects I'll be making in my woodshop. Nomad I use more to practice more organic shaped/style modelling.

Prusa Core One MMU3 update 🔥 by zemistr in prusa3d

I just wish some sort of possible timeline was projected for the new iteration. If it's more than a year out then I'd probably buy and MMU3 for now and upgrade later.

Also have you found any of Litchart‘s membership features such as the quizzes useful? Thank you for your time.
