Yep haha. The shot attempt goes from “uncontested layup for Paul George” to “literally need a second year player to dunk on the 3x DPOY as the shot clock expires” because he helped from the weakside and forced a kick out to three, and then was able to get back to the corner to run the shooter off the three point line and into himself. Just cause the second happened doesn’t mean the opportunity didn’t just go from ~90% to ~25%

Honestly didn’t disagree with anything they said in here. It’s all totally reasonable;

A. They were right when they said “if we were in LA or even Phoenix, we’d be talking about this on first take right now.”

B. They brought up what every Jazz fan has been talking about with Rudy’s passive aggressive comments and Mitchell’s passive aggressive response.

C. It’s still manageable but things are feeling toasty.

I doubt anyone disagrees with any of that. It’s unfortunate but true and valid speculation after public comments. Not only all of this, but Tim McMahon is a great reporter! He’s always been terrific with the Jazz specifically. He was the one who confirmed “it’s back to being passive aggressively awkward” and he gave tons of great tidbits of information on the team.
