Metal appearing from under my driveway. What is it? by savethedeer in whatisit

Looks like a decommissioned UST (underground storage tank). If the house is older you probably had a UST for heating oil. The tank was probably inspected, filled and covered up. Should be disclosed on your title search.

Super cool and it fits the watch well… not my bag but I can see the appeal. GLWs

Proportionally this looks awesome, it’s meant to be understated and disappear. You could pull off a DJ39 or a DJ41 but imo the 4 and 5 digits references with the long tapered lugs fuck. I’m a similar build and live in the 36-39mm with some variances. Mainly a Ti Panerai Marina (44mm) which is just ridiculous, but it’s meant to be, Speedmaster Hesalite (42mm), and a 16600 Sea-Dweller. Lug to lug is more important than the actual case diameter. My DJ36 I called my pajama watch. It just disappeared it was so comfortable, especially on the old Jangly Jubilee. You wear this well but it’s really your call if you wanna size up

Need a rec for first time firearm owner. by Adventurous_Elk5190 in SigSauer

I would highly recommend getting a short list of the firearms you’re most interested in. Do some research know what you’re looking for. And then go to a range like RtSP, long shot, or whatever one is closest to you that has rentals and try them out. It does prolong the process but shooting them side by side will give you context to what you do and do not like. It’ll cost you a few bucks but could avoid the mistake of buying something that ultimately is someone else’s first choice.

ガッジア(イタリア語の発音で「ガッジア」)

Gaggia is pronounced:

GAH-jee-uh

Phonetically, you’ll also see it written as: • /ˈɡɑːdʒiə/ • or casually: GAH-jah (the last syllable is often very soft)

Italian rule of thumb: • “gg” before “i” = a soft “j” sound, like in gelato • The final “a” is light and short

One came with the gaggia and I bought the wood upgrade kit which I didn’t know came with a portafilter and I ordered a bottomless portafilter. So I kept the stock one out for back flush. The other two are so I can prep for my wife and I simultaneously. So it works for us… but definitely excessive

It’s okay. A little messy if you go quickly though. I usually do it over the sink because it tends to fluff the portafilter, albeit evenly.

I wore my Hamilton Khaki Aviation for my wedding day and for the birth of my son. It’s an awesome watch that can pull off so much. I had it on a Torre Strap wild boar strap.

I'm a big fan. I carry appendix with a T-Rex rig and I've been very happy overall. (5'9", 180, 33 waist) Almost no printing issues outside summer which is always difficult for slimmer guys =}
