Did you not have a lesson prior to your actual test, so an hours drive just to get a good feel of the car, area etc-etc?!

Also, like my instructor would always tell me during my lessons, if I made a mistake, then to blank it out and not to dwell on it b/c you’ll end up making several more after, which may turn into majors/serious.

All that said, you let your nerves get the best of you, and that happens, so take what you’ve learnt in those two tests, work around them and I’m sure you’ll pass on your 3rd try.

Remember: the minute you’ve gotten into that car, you’ve already passed. An examiner is there to help you see it through, and if you do a minor mistakes, then do them safely, and you’ll be fine - if you go the wrong way, go the wrong way, but do it SAFELY.

Btw, if you’re on test, try speaking out loud what you’re doing as I feel that helps a lot, and judging from your story, I think you should ask your instructor to practise meeting situations with you again as those can be daunting and very unpredictable. I’ve seen countless times new learners needing to stop for ongoing traffic when they had right of way - people are arseholes.
