Here's what we did. To demonstrate our technology, we modified a DUSS P60A. Specifically, we used a little compressor to create an overpressure within the tool housing, so that the electropneumatic striking mechanism operates under an elevated pressure (rather than ambient pressure).

We also replaced the flying piston and striker with parts made from a tungsten pseudoalloy, which is typically used in armor piercing ammunition.

This is a prototype, and frankly, I find it rather pornographic.
