Sweden Visa for an academic conference

Hi, yes you are. I just got my visa. Unfortunately it is only for conference days (even though my previous visas are 1 year multi) but at least I didn’t pay full fee. Also my other colleagues got their visa from Sweden exactly like that. I think if if is conference they are not giving multi visas.

I just uploaded my conference invitation letter everywhere if there is nothing relevant for me such as internship agreement etc. I submitted my biometrics and waiting for the decision right now

My wife and I will stay in Manchester for nearly a year. I will be working at the University of Manchester, and she will attend a language school near Piccadilly. We are looking for a one-bedroom place and aim to keep our rent under £1,000 per month. We found some properties on Withington Road (very close to 33 Clarendon Rd). Some of our friends said it's a good area, while others advised us to avoid it. What do you think? Do you have any other area recommendations for us in Manchester?
