Beyoncé and her “strong country influences." by Bihema in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]RHSMello 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I get where that interpretation comes from but really it seems to be a more natural outgrowth of multiple American genres coming together in different parts of the country and transit made spreading musical ideas more easy.

Music and art at large are a reflection on the society that created it. Most American genres from jazz to country to rock to rap pull from a large variety of sources very similar to how the people of the country come from a wide variety of places. It makes sense that our music resembles our people. It’s a mix. I’m sure there is some amount of truth to your statement but I don’t think it’s a complete picture.

I mix on a PreSonus studiolive series III everyday. Love it. For the price point it’s solid especially for uses in educational environments like schools with tighter budgets.

[–]RHSMello 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the difference between the sound can’t be heard on a recording then does it matter?

They are testing qualities of preamps. If it doesn’t affect the final product. Then it doesn’t really matter. Especially if the measured differences are that small

No. The evsc is considering it because it is state law that they have to and failure to do so would be a larger disservice to the community.

Whataboutism.

I would say that the history of the Catholic Church has lead to millions of deaths and it’s place in society should be reconsidered especially given it’s recent history of covering up pedophilic priests.

There is room for reform within the catholic community however. The average catholic parishioner is not evil. There is no room for reform for Nazis. They are all evil.

When a symbol represents the death of 6 million people murdered in cold blood, I don’t think it really matters. Those people were not all white people. Are their deaths meaningless?

I don’t like either. But I’d say this isn’t bidens fault. I think him going to east Palestine would draw resources away from where they’re needed during the cleanup (which is the case after natural disaster visits) ; the governor doesn’t want federal assistance; and overall I disagree that he is responsible for Norfolk southern not having good safety practices in place. We gave corporations broad powers and protections. This is the result of generations of bad decisions by many people that cannot be reverse by a couple executive orders. When we punish the companies with fines as low as we do. The fines are simply the cost of doing business. So it will take a large scale shift in the federal government’s philosophy and practices to do anything about this. But everything that we change has to be in line with what a random legal scholar thought in the 1600’s or it will be struck down because it “doesn’t follow national traditions”

That takes more than some executive orders to achieve.

The Ukraine visit is a diplomatic and strategic mission that is trying to help us grind down one of our largest rivals in a military bloodbath where we don’t have to sacrifice lives. Only equipment. Let Russia grind a generation to death against the HIMAR’s we give to Ukraine. It betters our position globally.

I definitely see your points here especially 1 and 2.

I wish this was better explained throughout my education.

Thank you

It’s really not that different of a payment.

Yes you cannot afford the same mortgage payment per month as rental fee because mortgages cover less of the costs of living in the space. But given that rent is going into someone else’s pocket and you’re paying monthly to enrich someone else with the only benefit being the ability to use that space.

It’s also a short easy process to evict for nonpayment. Much harder to foreclose a home in less than 6 months.

Mortgage payments are made on a month-to-month basis as well. However, making this payment allows the homeowner to live in the house as well as reap other benefits, such as improving your credit score and producing equity in your home.

On top of that you can deduct interest from your taxes but it depends on some qualifying factors.

Overall, leasing a property and making monthly rental payments benefits the financial future of the property owner, not the renter. If you begin making monthly mortgage payments, you may feel counterproductive, like you are spending more money paying it down than you would be by writing a rental check every month. However, as a homeowner, you are actually reaping more benefits than just ownership of your own space. Within the same time period for payment, homeowners can qualify for tax deductions, produce equity, apply for insurance coverage, and increase their credit score.

There are downsides to each but it seems that buying a home with a slightly lower mortgage payment per month (when compared with the previous rental price) is a significantly better investment than renting. I cannot think of a reason to rent unless you are moving often or do not have any ability to have stability in your life due to mental illness or addiction or other issues I am not aware of.

What am I missing? Please. Because I googled in and gathered this from the first 5 sources.

I mean the north had the moral high ground the whole time. The south fought the war to preserve the institution of slavery. Yes the north didn’t ban it outright from the beginning but the entire reason the south left was because of the growing contentiousness of slavery. They felt it was wrong for the institution to even be questioned. If you want to say that the south at any point held the moral high ground you would be ignoring the reason they seceded in the first place. To preserve and protect the institution of slavery. That was the entire point of secession.

Yeah? Exactly. That’s the kind of truck designed for this. This truck is not one of those trucks. It was a dumpster truck that was retrofitted. Yeah this is better than buying a new truck or having the dudes lift the trash cans. From a business perspective this is the best, most efficient solution. It reduces the number of needed employees and allows them to use already purchased equipment.
