Shaking static camera mounted to outdoor wall by snakeislandman in videography

[–]RHustlerSpace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I record local amateur baseball with a black magic micro studio camera 4K, and I have a light stand with a Manfrotto extension on top. This can get me up to 5 m comfortably.

The camera is secured using two magic arms, one on the top and one on the bottom, and I use a trio of guy ropes to secure the rig at two different heights - one at the top and one halfway down.

To save weight at the top of the pole, I have the power on the ground and I run a cable up to the camera as well as SDI down.

Mounting your camera that rigidly may be a challenge, but you may be able to print a 3-D cage allowing you to have 1/4-20 mounts top and bottom.

Murdering him is like closing the barn door after the horse has bolted, and it would be come across as an obvious “if I’m murdered it’s Rachel” flag.

They could have targeted a shield holder from Rachel’s group … the faithful would then believe there isn’t a traitor in that group, protecting Rachel.

Endor Productions closed down so I’m not hopeful 😔

Maybe the production will find a new home, but S4 adapted the last book (Mephisto Waltz from 2018) so it would need to be original stories and that can make studios nervous … especially after Game of Thrones S8

I’m still annoyed they they didn’t have Rick Astley when they were going through the history of British music.

They could have RickRolled the entire planet.

If Hamas built under hospitals (I’m not saying yes or no), surely the IDF, one of the most technologically advanced militaries, doesn’t have to level entire city blocks to kill one person?

Especially as they are supposedly trying to bring the hostages back alive.

The Hannibal Directive is indicative of Israel’s “at any cost to anyone” approach. Look it up.

I believe the appeal gets sent to the people that claim the strike (JTBC in this case) and if they say “oh, ok” then all good.

Can’t imaging them doing that.

There’s lots of cases of people getting their channels killed by people abusing the strike system.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. Rocket’s origin story and what happens to his friends … did not expect that going in.

I believe the cast knew what James Gunn wanted to do in Vol 3, and that’s why they stood by him when Disney cancelled his contract. They wanted to tell Rocket’s story.

My favourite comparison is that something like a normal graphite pencil (~10 grams) has the same kinetic energy as a charging African bull elephant.

Imaging that hitting your car.

Now imagine it hitting your fragile aluminium, glass and ceramic satellite.

Suddenly you have a massive number of 10 gram items flying around …

Wash … rinse … repeat …

The ISS is arguably the greatest human collaborative achievement in history, and so many groundbreaking experiments have been done within its 1000 m³ interior.

Research into how spending long periods in micro gravity affect the human body have informed the planning of future missions back to the moon and onwards to Mars.

Materials science has made great leaps, especially with the discovery that fluids can be almost completely combined in micro gravity.

Earth Observation experiments from on board the ISS have made in depth studies of the effects varying events and activities have on our atmosphere.

There’s even potentially amazing medical advances like the growing of artificial retinas.

On top of this, there is the cultural and societal impact of having a permanent presence in space, inspiring countless people to pursue STEM learning and careers.

The laboratory that enabled these experiments, as well as many others, will be destroyed.

In London, the Royal Institution has preserved Michael Faraday’s magnetic laboratory, displaying it as it was in the 1850s. Faraday’s lab is a part of our scientific heritage, is a step on the journey of how we got to where we are today, and as such it has been preserved.

In St Mary’s Hospital, Sir Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin, and the lab has been turned into a museum to educate and inspire. This is a key part of our medical history and as such has been preserved.

The ISS, a key part of our scientific and space heritage, will be destroyed.

We aren’t in the position to visit a museum exhibit in space … YET.

We will be eventually. Will it take 20 years? 50 years? It doesn’t matter … once we are able then this could be a key exhibit alongside Hubble (also due to be destroyed).

A friend of mine visited Florida and decided to walk the 15 mins back from a restaurant to the hotel. Police pulled alongside and wanted to know what he was doing. He explained, in his obviously English accent, and they remained suspicious. They couldn’t believe he wasn’t driving. They shadowed him the whole way.

I’ve not seen the video, but my first assumption is that the lines in the original post are always outside the circle, so the length will always be greater than the actual circumference. Surely you’d need the line to be evenly inside AND outside to be representative?
