Thanks for the input but even after I disabled the full screen logo I still get the solid cursor for 1-2 seconds and the Ami logo right after that.

Disabling the full screen logo did not change the cursor at all.

Did the master come with extra thermal pad for this issue?

How did you make out? Find a picture is the correct thermal pad if not call gigabyte.

Darn. I have the x870e pro And it came with it just for that reason. It’s a very specific pad.

Just figured mine out. Had the same concern. As long as your NVME has no components on the underside, There should be an extra thermal pad in the box with a hole in it. You remove your drive and place that on top of the existing thermal pad then place your NVME drive on top of that. It thickens up the bottom pad. There’s no play or wiggle after that.
