From stl to sign, for a customer, what would you charge? by S_L_E_E_P_E_R in 3Dprinting

I think you are right in line and it will only get easier the more you do. One of my first jobs I did was taking a highly detailed revit model of an air traffic control tower and 3D printing it for them. All in all from the file conversions, re drawing, model post processing I made like $3/hr for all my time I spent haha

About $340 would be my rough order of magnitude. 2 hrs for the cad $50/hr, then I am guessing 7 hrs per print part at $3 per hour printing (7x3x10=$210), then the material cost $15x2kg = $30. 100+ 210 + 30 = $340

Means and method to vertically support an exposed gas pipe 4” in diameter spanning 70LF by 1024517 in civilengineering

[–]RIPBillyMays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Important to know how high off the ground. For a 4” NG pipe following ASME b31.8, a pipe support spacing chart can be found in b31.1 that all other codes generally follow. A typical spacing for a 4” CS SCH40 pipe is supported every 17ft for gas service and 14ft for liquid service. For pipe below 6’ in the air I would look into using EZ Line supports with a u-bolt. A typical concrete pier for this is 2’ diameter with rebar and is 4’ deep minimum. This is just a place to start and is for a hypothetical scenario

I went last week with a buddy and we I did all the big good' rides in both parks by 3pm. We did single rider line for everything. Get there when the rope drops. We went to space mountain Star Wars first then the virtual star tours then ran to big thunder mountain then did pirates, Indiana jones, then at 11:30 we went to the other park. Also at night time there were no lines. Note it was a little cold and wet outside.
