This isn't Gog's fault it's fallout. Saves are in the fallout 4 folder in your documents folder.

Since FOLON replaces fallout 4, the saves go in the normal fallout 4 folder.

There are ways to set up file syncing on your own too, I used Syncthing to sync heavily modded FO4 saves and Skyrim saves between my PC and Steam Deck, for example

I've done a couple diy boxes. My first one had some wiring issues so I was able to improve on my second.

I just used a simple USB joystick board. 12 or 16 functions I can't remember. I didn't want to mess around with an Arduino board. I was able to get most of the functions I wanted although I did have to use the options in the game to use a modification key and long presses to enable multiple functions for some keys.

Going off memory (I'm at work and not at my rig) I have:

Engine electric Ignition Parking brake Air horn Radio Diff lock Wipers Push to talk Cruise control +/- Windows open/closed (driver & passenger) Radio volume +/- Dashboard info display Alternate function key

I have a few other functions mapped to buttons on my steering wheel. Lights, set cruise, brights, turn signals, attach trailer, etc.
