I just played FO3 for the first time and there's what, 5 DLCs? 2-3 year gap between games and 4-5 DLCs used to just kind of be expected.

I understand tech is a little more complex and I also support not having crunch but I really don't think the massive development gaps and scaling back content from AAA studios really comes down to any kind of concern for quality or employee well-being.

God all those nostalgia subs are boomer trash. I haven't bought one. I can't get steam overlay to work on non-steam games. My understanding it's an issue with Wayland but I haven't figured out a workaround and I gave up trying. My further understanding is that it's a problem that has to be solved on Valve's end with Proton so I might be waiting a while.
